From the ancient ages through the dark ages and into the current time people have put a great deal of stock in their beliefs and their belief systems in order to conform to an accepted societal ‘norm’ that affords them being accepted by others. Is this the true way to getting along in life or is it a facade that leads you down a path into self-destruction? Do you defend your beliefs so much that you are willing to die for them? If you aren’t, then you must not truly believe in them or you would. If you won’t, then you never needed them to begin with and you were just carrying them around as baggage to make you feel secure. It comes down to the fact that what you believe is farce of reality and what you come to know isn’t.
For example, take Ted Cruz and Donald Trump. Some say that Trump is more dangerous than Cruz and some say it is the other way around. Does it matter if you get shot in the head with a 22 or a 38? You are just as dead either way! Both Trump and Cruz are determined to be in power because they BELIEVE that they know the correct way to lead. Sheer FUCKING ego! In their speeches and in the delivery of their speeches they resound with FORCING what they believe on you! If you accept their putrid bullshit what does that say about you? Are you so enraptured by what they BELIEVE that you will sacrifice the livelihood and mutual respect for your neighbors in order to back their pack of lies?
Don’t buy into their sheer and utter bullshit because if you do, you will be hauling bullshit for the next 4 to 8 years and this country will move backward instead of forward. I saw a bumper sticker the other day that said, “That hope and change thing. How’s that working out for you?” On the other side of the pickups bumper was a bumper sticker that said, “She’s a child, not a choice!” When I stopped next to the redneck at the light I rolled down my window and said, “That hope and change thing is working out JUST FINE! BTW, it is not YOUR choice; it is a woman’s choice, asshole!” he looked at me bewildered by the fact that I actually had something to say to his blatant ignorance of the facts. His beliefs were so important to him that he had to broadcast them on his vehicle. What does that say about him? His selfish ego is so important that he cannot and will not see the truth that we have changed as a country and that women have a right to choose what happens with THEIR bodies more than what a man wants!
Just as a solar farm was shut down form being constructed in North Carolina because a former science teacher convinced the town council that it would ‘steal’ all of the Sun’s energy and kill off the plants in the surrounding farms, beliefs negate the truth simply because they are managed by misguided egos with selfish agendas. Science reveals the truth about the ‘seen’ physical world and spirituality reveals the truth about the ‘unseen’ spiritual world. When you supplant beliefs for true knowing you ARE on the path of self-destruction. Stop heralding the arrival of the idiots like Trump and Cruz who are doing no more than taking advantage of your ignorance to bolster their egos. Trump would recklessly spend and spend just like he did when he wasted his father’s fortune. The only reason he was able to get back on his feet was the fact that if the banks didn’t lend him the money, they would never get a return on their investments.
Trump lavishly constructed the inane and gaudy Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, NJ, he made the subcontractors wait so long to get paid that he drove them into receivership and then went in and bought their companies. What an asshole!!! Some say that it was JUST business; hell no, it was greed and ego! Anyone who can justify what that prick did to those hard working middle class people who had to support their families is just as much an asshole as he is! The same with Cruz! He wasted the tax-payers money with his so called filibuster just to gain notoriety. The funny part is that he is against a complete revamp of the immigration system for a fairer sense of propriety and he, even though born in Canada, is from an immigrant family! Stop allowing morons with erroneous beliefs to mess with your freedoms. See the Trumps and Cruzes for what they are; egomaniacal assholes with a self-serving agenda! LIVING FROM YOUR EGO
When you accept what others say without investigating, perceive it is correct by your own experience and believe it is true without challenging it, you are proving that you are living from your selfish ego more than your inner spirit.
Your ego likes things that are easy and convenient and don’t require much thought because it loves the safety and security of living in your comfort zone of ongoing mediocrity.
Only when you verify the truth, validate its occurrences in different scenarios and listen to the guidance of your inner well-being will you be able to KNOW the truth. Anything else is just lip service based on what you believe is reality and not what reality truly is.
Get out of your own way and come to an understanding that what you believe is subjective to what your ego allows you to believe for your own self-survival. It is NOT the whole truth; it is a convenient truth that is predicated on what you believe are your needs, wants, desires and expectations.
Your beliefs are repeated thoughts that you accept as true that come from your experiences that align with your values. If your values are based on what is only good for you, then they are selfish and misaligned with reality. Reality includes our mutual best interests and until you live from real values you are only fooling yourself.
Be ye therefore aware that the truth needs to be verified, validated and understood before it is the truth for everyone. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

SELFISH BELIEFS
It’s actually quite simple. If you believe that you must own a weapon that has the power over life and death to defend yourself and protect your home your beliefs are not only erroneous, but purely selfish. We live in a society where the police have a charge of law and order. It is their job to keep the peace.
Now, if you live out in the boonies and the police might take 30 minutes to get to you, that is a different story. Why would any sane person who truly loves God, themselves and others want to use a weapon that deprives others of their right to life?
The only answer is that they don’t believe that God will protect them because they believe more in fear than faith in God. They ultimately DON’T trust the Divine to protect them because their egos are so sweltered with fear, that they cannot see the blessings in life.
If you truly know that God is at the center of your being, then you don’t need any weapon to protect yourself. Go ahead and call me foolish; it is you who are the fool and will continue to be one until you learn how to share Divine love with all. Peace. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
THE PERSON
Commentor: “Guns by themselves do not kill people. Somebody has to pull the trigger.”
My response: Just like somebody has to buy the gun. My point about guns has always been the mindset and heartset of the person who buys the gun to have the power over life and death. People without guns can still kill other people. However, it is so easy and quicker with a gun. Can you stab 5 people at once? But you can kill 5 people easier and faster with a gun.
Summary: It is the person who is pulling the trigger because their ego is so big that they have the power over life and death that is the problem. Fear, reaction and self-justification become the determinants of right and wrong more than faith, proaction and understanding. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
RESTRICT THE FLOW
Why should we restrict the flow of guns and ammunition? Why should we impose tougher gun laws including background checks, psychological exams and recurring safety tests? Because we have seen too many deaths at the hands of unstable people with guns. Responsible gun owners are not the problem. It is the irresponsible ones who allow others easy access to deadly weapons that have contributed to the problem.
Gun owners leaving their gun safes unlocked; gun shows selling guns without instituting background checks; private sales that avoid the safety and background checks. All of these contribute to the unstable having easy access to deadly weapons. A responsible gun owner WANTS these checks to be enforced because it is adversely affecting their right to own and USE a gun. However, the National Reprehensible Association (NRA) stifles this at every turn; including getting a 31 year editorial veteran journalist fired for speaking the truth.
When you have to lie, pay off constituents and discredit others for speaking the truth you ARE reprehensible! Just like most people do not know that until recently the NFL was a NON-PROFIT organization; that GE hasn’t paid taxes in YEARS; and that the NRA has paid off too many of our representatives to manifest their twisted and profit seeking agendas. Wake up people! Tightening up guns laws does not restrict your rights; it focuses them. Stop listening to the blatant lies of the NRA and their dufus puppet Wayne LaPierre!

CHRISTMAS WISHES
I have three Christmas wishes for all of my friends here on Facebook to share with the rest of the world. It is my sincerest wish that all of you embrace the beauty of these wishes and take them to heart. If you do, you will soon come to realize just how blessed we all are to know what these three wishes can do to bring peace on earth, understanding between us all, joy for everyone and living in Divine love everlasting! Take these wishes to heart and make them your own. We all deserve to be, do and have what we have already been blessed with and need to live by in friendship. Peace and blessings to all of you and your families; now, and evermore!
#1: We all need to come to an understanding that we ARE perfect divine beings graced with life. There is no way in which we are NOT perfect, for the Divine makes no mistakes. We are who we are, what we are, where we are, how we are, when we are and why we are despite our beliefs to the contrary. Pray for guidance each and every day to stay focused on Divine love!
#2: We all need to live in divine allowance and not selfish resistance. We need to stop fighting this and that and start loving it all. As long as we fight one another over what we believe we are NOT living in Divine love! Only by allowing life to unfold as it is and not attaching our feelings, emotions and beliefs to it will we be living in divine allowance. Meditate to receive guidance each and every day to be cleansed with Divine love everlasting!
#3: We all must make sharing Divine love a priority each and every day of our lives by sharing our individual talents, skills and abilities in Divine service to others. Only in sharing Divine love do we bring about peace, understanding, joy and even more Divine love. Serving each other IS serving God!
By accepting these three wishes into your heart and mind will you allow health, wealth, prosperity and abundance to bless your life each and every day. These three wishes are in fact a divine process that aligns you with Divine order. They bring you into alignment with all that IS, bypassing all that is not relevant or supportive of you living in your Divine purpose expressing it in Divine order. As long as you keep fighting, resisting and complaining you will always get more of the same. It is in your acceptance of peace; your seeking of understanding; your embracing of joy and your allowance of Divine love to move through you into the lives of others that you learn to stop complaining, stop resisting and stop fighting your experiences.
Create beauty, peace and love by allowing that which irritates you to pass through you into oblivion. When it pushes your buttons, it is you who have put those buttons out there to be pushed. Whatever befalls you let it pass through you without attaching any negative emotions to it.

WHAT OTHERS FEEL?
In a recent meme it stated, “How you make others feel about themselves, says a lot about you” I received this comment: “I can't control how anyone else feels.”
My response: That's not the point of what was said. You are not trying to control what someone else feels but you are supporting them the way you would like someone to support you in how you feel. Control is of the ego and allowance is of the Divine!
It never ceases to amaze me how the most simple of concepts seem to go right over some people’s heads. The ego is truly great at fooling us about the truth. Stay focused on Divine love and its effect will be minimized! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
CENTERED IN SPIRIT
Until we all come to the realization that the entirety of reality is all centered and equal in spirit, we will continue to divide that which is indivisible to keep our self-centered illusion that we are safe, secure and comfortable as the way things are.
Only when we live in a focus of ‘we’ over ‘me’ will we become aware of our connection to a living and breathing omniverse in which we not only reside, but decide to experience either its magnificent beauty, expressions and order or its inelegance, suppressions and chaos.
The eyes of the beholders always see the same thing; it is in how our beliefs taint what we perceive that we go astray from what truly is in favor of how we perceive and understand it is. Allow that which truly is to bring what is the ‘same’ into the realm of the apparent ‘unsame’.
Only when we experience our connection with everything will we come to truly know that we are everything expressing creativity into our lives. HOMELAND SECURITY
Well, it seems that someone Facebook wants to call Homeland Security on me for reposting a meme about how the ‘War on Terror’ is a farce. Oh well, I just hope the Men In Black don’t interrupt my day with my grandkids. Maybe I will be teaching them that and the MIB’s can bravely stop me from doing so. So much can be learned by taking what is told you on the corporate news and investigating it yourself.
Some of us just do the research ourselves and come to find out just how much we've been lied to by the corporate media. Peace. Each and every war is a farce because it promotes hidden and public agendas to maintain control of resources for those who yearn to make a profit off of those resources. A good study of history reveals that fact! So, if you don’t see any posts from me over the next few weeks you’ll know what happened.
Only those who do not know the joys of silence try to silence those who do. No matter what, I will ALWAYS speak my mind. If loudmouth nutcases like Alex Jones, Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck can spout pure and utter bullshit and get away with it, what can they do to someone who speaks the truth? DOES THE TRUTH HURT?
If the truth hurts then you are allowing your ego to resist what you believe is unfolding more than allowing your inner well-being to guide you into trusting the Spirit of God to unfold perfection in Divine order.
Stop trying to control that which is uncontrollable and you will be unfolding your Divine purpose in Divine order perfectly!

A CHRISTMAS STORY
I have an awesome Christmas story of blessings for all of you. I decided to call an old friend of mine and wish him a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I shared with him my joy of having a day with my grandchildren and he acknowledged. He sounded sad in his voice and I asked him why. He told me that his wife found someone else and asked him for a divorce. On top of that, his good paying job as an IT Systems Administrator had cut his hours in half and he could no longer afford his mortgage.
I acknowledged his pain and told him that I would pray for him. He thanked me and I asked him to join us for Christmas. He was grateful but said that he would be with his mother and sister and his sister’s family. After we got off of the phone I pulled over and prayed saying, “Thank you God for one of the best days of my life with my grandchildren yesterday. Please allow my friend to feel the joy that I feel. Heal his heart and his mind with your grace and Divine love.
I drove home and got into my man cave. The phone rang and it was my friend. He said, “Man, you are my good luck charm!” After I got off of the phone with you I went to the bathroom here at work. My cell phone rang and it was from another company that I sent a resume to last week. I had to answer it. They offered me a job making great money. I was so excited that I stood up from the john and it automatically flushed and the boss that hired me heard it over the phone. He said, “Where are you?” I told him and apologized and we both laughed. Thank you for being my good luck charm. What can I do for you?” I answered, “Pray for me that I get a call like yours!” We both laughed and I shared in his joy and success. This man has been a friend of mine for 40 years.
When I returned home from California in 1989 he came over to my home, took me to dinner and handed me the keys to a van and gave me some cash to get on my feet. Sometimes a simple prayer of thanksgiving and sharing the deep feelings of joy with another can bring about positive change. I am so happy for my friend. He will not lose his house and he will be able to start over without someone who has broken his heart. A Christmas miracle for sure! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
DIGNITY IS NOT EARNED
Dignity is not earned; it is given by grace. It means that we are worthy of living in peace; we are worthy enough to understand one another; we are worthy enough to live in joy; and by the fact that we were created by Divine love and are extension of it, we are worthy to live in Divine love everlasting!
It means that we respect ourselves and others enough to lift them up when they are down; to inspire them with learning to know their Divine purpose; and to give to them what we desire the most – living in THEIR Divine purpose and unfolding that purpose in Divine order.
Those who look down on others based on their attributes are NOT seeing the entire picture. The divine spirit within each and every one of us is not always seen by others; especially those who make things outside of themselves their ‘god’.
True dignity is recognizing that the Spirit of God is within everything everywhere and that our interactions within life predicate our experiences with life. What we give out comes back to us pressed down and running over! We are living in divine abundance and if we don’t see that, we are not living with true dignity.
True dignity IS living in Divine grace and knowing that we all share our Divine purposes with each other by sharing Divine love everlasting! Be ye therefore dignified in ALL that you think, feel, believe, say and do! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Each and every truth seeker has a duty to the truth. What is that duty? To uphold it despite contrary events, occurrences, situations, circumstances and mostly the behavior of yourself and others. Without the absolute of the truth how could we survive, strive and thrive together? Duty is defined as “something that one is expected or required to do by moral or legal obligation; [it is] the binding or obligatory force of something that is morally or legally right; [a] moral or legal obligation; [it is] an act or expression of respect; a task or chore that a person is ‘expected’ to perform [dictionary.com].”
If you truly seek the truth it is incumbent upon you to stand by it, for it and with it. In your duty to it you are ‘expected’ to respect its tenets and principles despite surrounding circumstances that are currently being expressed. In other words, if someone is lying by directly manipulating facts, lying by omission or lying for self-aggrandizement, it is incumbent upon you as a truth seeker to test their veracity, validate the occurrences of their conclusions and confront them with the challenge of proving the validity of their sources. In other words, DO the research!
Your due diligence of investigating the ‘actuality’ of any claim by anyone based on the absolute of truth is paramount to you living ‘in’ the truth! If you blindly accept what anyone says without performing your ‘due diligence’, you are opening yourself up to being misguided by erroneous beliefs ‘about’ the truth more than its pure actuality. Stand firm on what you know within while discharging what you believe about what is happening outside of yourself. You will be contributing to our collective peace, mutual understanding, harmonious joy and the sharing of Divine love everlasting! BEYOND SENSING
As long as your argument of what reality truly is, is predicated on what you can sense (factual observation), perceive (concentration on occurrences as being threatening or advantageous) and believe (collation of perceptions through contemplation into neat little boxes of ‘the way it is’), your argument is non-sequitur. Only when you look truthfully at events, occurrences, situations, circumstances and the behavior of things you perceive as being outside of you, you will come to the realization that your perceptions of time and events in space-time are based on whether or not they help or harm you.
Again, looking for truth in the box in which you perceive you reside is based on belief more than knowing. Trying to explain what is unseen using the natural laws of the seen is result based conjecture. However, explaining the seen using the knowing of the unseen is expressing creativity more than limited observation. Your senses are limited and don’t ‘feel’ the whole picture; your perceptions are tainted by your selfish agenda of self-survival; and your beliefs are repeated thoughts you accept as true to keep you safe and secure in your comfort zone of ongoing mediocrity. Science only explains the results of what is perceived as tangible by a system of experimentation that is affected by the consciousness of the observer of that experimentation.
Again, as Godel says, when you are inside of the box you cannot effectively know all that there is to know until you get out of the box and independently observe reality from a non-skewed viewpoint. Arguing for anything else is ludicrous at best and reveals that the argument is flawed just as the thought process of the arguer is flawed. Go ahead; argue apples and oranges when they are nothing more than shared observations within the fruit crate. I, for one, will always look beyond my limited senses to feel the underpinnings of what is experienced. Arguing about illusions is a waste of everyone’s precious ‘perception’ of time. Peace. ~Dean A. The carbon footprint is an actuality and NOT a speculation. You may choose to believe it doesn't while you continue to believe in a flat earth or deny global warming; however, that doesn't change the physical facts to suit your erroneous beliefs.
