Not blanketly true. If you don't expect the love and blessings of the Divine they will not become manifest in your life. This type of teaching has led many astray.
It is true that you should do good for others and yourself without expecting others to reciprocate; however, when it comes to receiving good for yourself you must expect it to become manifest or the omniverse will NOT respond in kind.
Being overly humble and meek is not always good for you; it is the ego seeking the attention and respect from others much like those who pray in public. Being humble in spirit is KNOWING that if you expect the best to come to you that you must allow it to manifest by feeling the joy of the end result.

What you think about me, feel about me, believe about me, say about me, act toward me and behave around me is none of my business. Why? Because all of that is based on your ‘perceptions’ of who and what I am and NOT who and what I am. I don’t have to live up to your standards and you don’t have to live up to mine.
What we need to do is live up to our own internal standards of Divine perfection from our inner well-being. When you stop expressing yourself as a perfect Divine being is when you have accepted that you aren’t. That acceptance allows you to react, judge and elevate who and what you believe you are and what I am over what we both truly are.
We are extensions of the Spirit of God who need to learn how to get out of our own way by allowing that which is pure and beautiful to shine forth ‘from us’ despite our selfish yearnings for recognition in ‘winning’ perceived battles that are no more than challenges we need to not challenge, but pass through us without attaching any emotional baggage to them.
Beings of Light allow their greater good to come forth unhindered by selfish determinations in ‘how’ they should unfold. Your appraisal of me and my appraisal of you in how we allow our greater good to unfold our Divine purposes in Divine order are not the issue. The issue is in not resisting but allowing.

LIFE IS PRECIOUS
Life is precious. Life is the culmination of millions of years of evolution, progression and culmination into beings that can look back at the omniverse with magnificence and wonder.
Life came about naturally as an extension of its environment from the blessings of Divine love; some call it, in reality, energy; some call it an illusion of reality.
Whatever it may be we are the culmination of Divine love. It is up to us to preserve our heritage, actualize our peace and share Divine love. Anything else is self-centered and selfish.
Why? Because when you choose to believe more than know, you are focusing more on what you want than what you are supposed to do. Allow your inner well-being to bless your life so you can flourish in Divine love everlasting.

IN A MOMENT
It has taken me a couple of weeks to write this following essay. I was peacefully riding North on Rte. 301 from Middletown, DE to home north of the canal about 1:20 P.M. on Wednesday. Right in front of me two cars up a car abruptly turned to the left and a motorcycle rode up the hood of the car into the air ejecting the driver forward where he hit a side view mirror. He flipped up in the air and landed on the road and rolled for (it seemed) 100 feet. He had a helmet on but that did him no good. His foot was twisted backwards.
The motorcycle landed on the road about 3 feet from my car because I drove off on the shoulder. I stopped, called 911 and looked back at the motorcyclist. An undercover State Cop had jumped out; flipped the man over; and gave him CPR; but to no avail. I began to think; this man got up this morning and decided to ride his bike on a ‘not normal’ 70 degree day in November. Did he know that by 1:20 P.M. he would be dead?
Emergency vehicles arrived shortly and ushered us off. I drove away and pulled over about a mile ahead and prayed for this man. I felt the split second between life and death and knew that, no matter what, he was no longer in pain. May God bless his family and friends for his loss. Also pray for the man who turned and didn’t know that his actions would cause someone else’s death. Savor the precious juices of life by allowing Divine love to heal you, forgive you and bless you. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
THE ENEMY WITHIN
The enemy that we perceive is real ‘outside’ of ourselves is, in reality, the enemy within us. It is the doubt, worry and fear that we embrace to feel that we ‘belong’ to a worthy cause; a cause of fighting, derision and resistance.
It is the ego telling us that what we know is best for everyone when in fact it is NOT! It is our ‘assessment’ of reality and NOT reality itself. Fighting and resisting beget more of the same; just like loving and allowing beget more of the same.
Stop trying to control, dominate and manipulate others by what you believe and instead inspire them by what you know! In order to know thyself, you must come to know the Divine.

CHEATING
When you choose to deny that which is in favor of that which is convenient or comfortable for you, you are cheating not only yourself but the rest of us as well from your dynamic assessment of your experiences in life. Taking the easy road reveals a mindset that dislikes the challenges necessary to move forward in unfolding your dreams and a heartset that fears ‘what might happen’ more than knowing the faith necessary to trust in sharing Divine love.
Mediocrity is a deep well of personal comfort that is difficult to climb out of because it is warm, cozy and secure. The walls might be slick from your own convenience but you can climb out when you choose to know your Divine destiny and trust in the Divine process. Let go of what you ‘believe’ you need to do in order to be whom and what you were created to be. Stop complaining about the slickness of the walls and forge your way to the top where freedom abounds.
Share Divine love with all despite whether they do or not. Be the perfect being you were created to be without any internal emotional assessments that deny your divinity. Face the challenges and forge your path. See the end result of your journey and feel the joy from arriving. Take that deep breath of “I did it” and live in inner peace. The beauty of everything can only be witnessed from the mountaintop. Stop settling for living on one side of the mountain where the view is limited and comfortable.

SAYING YES
Your inner spirit always says ‘yes’ to what edifies you. The nay-sayers may come and go because it is their egos that are denying that which fulfills your destiny.

If you believe that you are not then God bless you in your assessment of reality. I will take your erroneous beliefs and flush them down the toilet where they belong with the rest of B.S. that is repeatedly perpetrated on the rest of us.
Don't claim to be a Christian and ignore what Christ said. Don't claim to be loving and turn the other way when you can give love to help another. Don't be good to others so that you can feel good about yourself.

FALSE PRIDE
Lose your false pride. Stop caring about what others think. Cast your fears to the wind and trust in the Divine. Don’t allow fear to be overcome by false pride.
You will never get close to your dreams until you discharge false pride. The Divine has always provided for each and every one of us and always will.

DON'T EXPECT?
It has been said by some that the secret to happiness is not to expect much. BULLSHIT! Being happy comes from feeling satisfied and fulfilled. When you feel that you have attained an inner pleasure despite the external pain that sometimes surrounds you, it is because your subconscious mind has expected it to happen. Don’t allow people who live by the credo that a little bit of knowledge is dangerous infect your being with this despicable nonsense.
We were all created by expectation of being created. Everything we do, accomplish and attain is the result of us ‘expecting’ it to be. When you don’t expect things to happen, most often they never will! Some say that surprises are things that we haven’t expected; again, I say BULLSHIT! We might not have been fully aware of our inner expectation or we might have a self-fulfilling prophecy that has been pre-programmed into our subconscious mind that we simply aren’t aware of or know how it even got there!
Stop listening to memes with no credence; memes that tell you not to expect or that you are not perfect just as you are. You were created perfectly by perfection because you were expected to be created! You are the living and breathing proof of expectation! Be expectant of your Divine desires and your innermost dreams. They were put their as your Divine purpose and they will unfold in Divine order when you stop letting erroneous concepts block your greater good! Can’t you see that?!

SECOND NATURE
When lying has become second nature to you, you have become what you fear the most. Why? Because what you have blindly accepted without challenge predicates your intent and what has motivated that intent.
People who lie do so because they fear not only the truth, but what that truth reveals about them and how others would view them. Allow the truth to become second nature to you and you will become the love that generates faith and trust in the Divine to unfold your Divine purpose perfectly in Divine order.
Control, domination and manipulation of the facts to suit your lying agenda reveals that your ego is more in command of your life than the Spirit of God. Want to be aligned with the truth? Then stop rearranging reality to suit your whims to look good and righteous in the eyes of others.

In the wake of the terrorist attack on Paris we have had many theories being espoused by many people. Some say it was the radical Muslims of ISIS because all of the ‘evidence’ presented by the corporate media is being spoon fed to the masses as ‘the way it is’. Others are blaming the political Zionist machine from Israel trying to instill fear in the rest of us. Still others say that it is all a distraction from what is really going on. As I have said time and time again, before you espouse an opinion on anything, do the research. Find out who is financing the ‘terrorists’ and you will find out whose agenda is being manifested.
In the same manner, political ads in this country are being paid for by ‘superpacs’ with an agenda of dropping motivational tidbits of half-truths in order to get you to vote for them. Look at the bottom of the ads and see who is paying for it and you will see who is trying to get you to think their way in order to manifest their agenda. That is why it is called fine print. If you have to place it there by law make it as small as possible so that hardly anyone can see it and know where it is coming from and who is paying for it. Yesterday, the “immigrant bashing, carnival barker Donald Trump” (a term used by Governor O’Malley in the Democratic Debate last night) claimed that ONLY the terrorists in Paris had guns. What the living fuck is that?!
As far as I can see the Paris Police and military had guns as well! Terrorists strike at innocents because they are cowards and need the cloak of innocence to infiltrate their targets and get their message out. They don’t care about who they kill; it is their ego, whether fueled by religious dogma or self-aggrandizement. Look at what happened at Fort Hood! In a military base surrounded and entrenched with armed personnel a maniac still managed to kill 13 people. There were plenty of guns on duty and yet, a sick person with an agenda managed to wreak havoc and death at a military base. There goes your cowboy diplomacy argument Sir Donald of Trump! And to think that this man led in the polls and became the nominee of the Republican Party is harrowing at best.
Having Mexico pay for a wall on the border…what about the sea and air you bloviating ignoramus (a term used by George Will)? Donald Trump is an egomaniacal manipulator just like the terrorists. He doesn’t use guns and bombs that kill people; he uses mega doses of bullshit to pollute the sweet smell of peace and beauty with his instilling of fear and loathing. He purports that Washington is broken, when in fact it is WE who are broken! We are broken because too many people don’t get off of their ever-widening asses to go and vote for the candidates that truly want to represent US and not the corporate interests. On top of that, there are the complete and utter morons who claim that both parties are the same and that they want the same things.
Get off of your ass and go to the library and READ history to see what party has stood by the people and brought about laws to protect the people more than corporate interests. If you haven’t done the research and believe that both parties have the same agenda then you are completely STUPID. The constituents of the parties either seek to help others or help themselves and their cronies. The track record of the Democratic Party has been more for the people than for the corporate slave masters. Who invented not working on weekends? Who brought healthcare to those who didn’t have it? Who is actively trying to raise the minimum wage so that people can boost themselves out of poverty and into the middle class? It is sure as hell NOT the Republicans!
Go ahead, parrot what the manipulators want you to say and believe. Go ahead and believe that the parties are all the same. Go ahead and believe that our safety is either being compromised by radical Islamic terrorists of political Zionists. Go ahead and be distracted by what the corporate news is spoon-feeding you. It is your choice to stay in your hole of beliefs that comfort you and make you feel safe, secure, warm and fuzzy. Choose to ignore what is really happening and you will succumb to what others who have selfish agendas want to happen. Just remember, that while the world is focusing on the ‘Terror in Paris’ and the corporate news packaging complete with eerie music, the banksters are getting ready to make their move. They are fluctuating currency values all over the world to inflate the value of ‘worthless’ notes to be able to cash in on possessing mass quantities of those currently ‘worthless’ notes. This will allow them to make more dollars and in turn devalue the dollar significantly. These people are snakes that prey on all of us for their selfish profits. They are using all of us being distracted to make their insidious moves.
Don’t believe me? Good; make the time to investigate what’s currently happening in the world right now while we are being occupied by watching the news coverage of the ‘Terror in Paris’. My heart goes out to all of those innocents who lost their lives. But who, in reality, is truly financing ISIS? Where does the money come from? A little diligent research will reveal more than what you are being spoon fed by the corporate network news. Don’t believe everything you see or hear on TV, radio and the Internet.
Be forthright and discover the truth on your own. God gave you a brain to discern the facts and a heart to feel the truth from those facts. Use it before mediocrity takes control of your life and distracts you from what is really happening. Think I am paranoid? No, I am not. I read, investigate and collate information based on the facts and then discern the implications of those facts from the timing of those facts. I do the work necessary to verify the truth and test its veracity. That is the only way to know what is real and what is a perpetrated illusion from those who want you to believe what they want more than the God’s honest truth!

Keep your eyes focused on the facts, your ears focused on the dialogue, your nose focused on the smell of perpetrated actions, your taste focused on palatability of the timely occurrences of your experiences, your touch focused on what you are feeling from the environment and what you know inside is truly happening.
Sense your world, feel the experiences and know the truth from within your inner heart. Always test what you observe by verifying its truth and validating its occurrences. What about the Dark Ages when Christians were the ones creating mayhem? What about Westboro Baptist Church members who pollute ceremonies of decent and loving people to put forth their twisted agenda?
Those who proclaim that they don’t get involved in politics and religion are deluding themselves. Everything you do every day is infiltrated with politics and religion. You might not blatantly notice it, but it is there.
When you ‘give up’ on our system of government you throw your hands up in the air and proclaim that all the political parties are the same; that there is nothing any one of us can do about it; and that we are all helpless to do anything. Nothing could be farther from the truth!
Yet, time and time again people listen to ONLY Fox News, ONLY MSNBC and ONLY CNN to get their dose of network corporate news; which is ALL edited to provide the maximum effect of polarizing your viewpoint.
An enlightened person trusts no one; an enlightened person ferrets out the truth for themselves; and enlightened person does not believe what ANYONE says about the truth. An enlightened person DISCERNS the truth from the FACTS and forms an INFORMED opinion and NOT a parroted one.
Obama is right. Reacting by bombing one terrorist location after another is NOT the solution. Training the young in the ways of peace IS! Pray for those who have suffered; meditate on world peace; and go out into your community and serve those who are less ‘blessed’ than you.

It is not an impersonal force but a directly personal force that awakens your heart with the knowingness of your inner beauty. LIVING IN FEAR
Living in fear is what promulgates more fear. It has nothing to do with the government and has everything to do with the individual and what the individual accepts as real.
When we trust our representatives, who are bought off by corporations, is our first mistake; our second is in adopting cult of fear as 'the way it is' and the third mistake is in believing in fear and not knowing reality.
In order to live in faith for a blissful world of peace, mutual understanding, ongoing joy and the sharing of Divine love, we must learn how to COMPLETELY trust in the Divine to direct the ‘how’ of unfolding experience in Divine order.
Until we do that, our selfish egos will always gravitate towards embracing the teaching of and living in ‘fear’! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
FINDING PEACE
My wish for all of friends is to find peace; understand one another; live in joy everyday; and share Divine love with all.
It is for them to live in health, wealth, prosperity and abundance everlasting. It is for them to allow Divine love to flow through them instead of fighting; for them to stop resisting that which they perceive is against them; and for them to live a fulfilled life replete with love and blessings.

LITERARY AUTHORITARIANISM
This video might be a ‘must watch’ as is said here, however, we need to remember that any form of Literary Authoritarianism is based on OTHER people’s experiences and NOT your own. You must always investigate the SOURCE! If the source was from sheepherders and Bedouins who lived thousands of years ago and who had NO idea of scientific FACT, then to adopt their viewpoints is tenuous at best!
Would you go out into the rough seas with a farmer at the helm who has NEVER sailed a boat? Would you trust him to steer the boat safely with no knowledge of the seas? Would you allow his uninformed understandings to be the only way you could survive? Think about it. Dwell on this premise and come to a deep understanding that ANY form of religion is someone else’s understanding of whom and what God is and more times than not, it is an anthropomorphized ‘belief’ of God and NOT a knowing of Divine wisdom.
Don’t be fooled by the Koran OR the Bible. Go within and KNOW the Divine at the center of your being. You can reference the ‘holy word’ but don’t allow what has been interpreted by OTHER humans to become your benchmark of reality. Trust completely in the Divine more than anything that any human has interpreted or understood. In that action, and that action alone, you will open your heart to Divine understanding and ultimately Divine wisdom.
Be ye therefore perfect by not interpreting what has already been interpreted and dogmatized by others. Come to know the Divine within and your life will blossom in Divine love everlasting! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
