Whatever it is you want the most in your life is created with your passion AND the opposite concurrently. When you accept the reality of not having what you want in your present you are recreating that condition over and over again.

DENYING THE DARKNESS
To declare the unseen doesn't exist by utilizing the rules of the seen is like denying the darkness because there appears to be no light.
The unseen cannot be sensed; however, it can be known from within. Any declarative statements made from the limited senses are half-truths because they are conceived within the same system which reflects the conditional observations.
Only by going out of the system can we look back and observe just how the system truly works. Meaning exists when awareness is centered in the now and understanding is allowed to unfold perfectly. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
EXPECTATIONS
Expectations of the yearnings of the ego should be discharged but NOT the expectations of the Divine desires that are living in your inner heart.
YOU (the Spirit of God within) are the enlightenment and NOT anything outside of YOU; AND especially NOT your ego!
I expect my Divine desires to unfold my Divine purpose in Divine order. And so it is! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
COMPREHENSION?
What is comprehension? Is it the ability to observe and understand the consequences from the behaviors you observe? Is it the ability to communicate and understand the dialogue that has been exchanged? Or is it the ability to read and understand what is blatantly being said as well as what is being inferred? Comprehension is “perception or understanding; capacity of the mind to perceive and understand; power to grasp ideas; ability to know” [dictionary.com]. Its Latin origin (comprehensionem) means “a seizing, laying hold of, arrest.” In other words, you observe, perceive and ‘seize’ an understanding of what you have observed AFTER it has been ‘filtered’ through your belief system lodged in your subconscious mind.
All of your senses input information to your brain through various centers that process and sub-process information that leads to comprehension. The only sense that goes directly to your reptilian brain is your sense of smell; it needs no comprehension because it is an alarm system to identify threats or benefits to your individual survival system. It triggers instantaneous fight, freeze or flight reactions to occurrences in your environment. Your ability to effectively and honestly comprehend what is ‘truly’ happening is dependent on your ability to dismiss erroneous beliefs and embrace accurate beliefs. If you cannot, or will not, discern fact from fiction then your subsequent evaluations are tainted by erroneous beliefs.
That is exactly why science adopted the “Hypothetico Deductive Method” in order to honestly and effectively ‘comprehend’ what occurs in the world around us. This method tests the veracity and validates the occurrences of observations and has to occur more predominantly than not in order for it to be a working theory; and of course, determined by the parameters of an experiment. The consciousness of the observer has to be accounted for in the determination of what the data ‘infers’ in order to arrive at a plausible theory.
Balanced and accurate comprehension requires honesty in observing the facts; a removing of assumptions and beliefs; and a dutiful series of experiments that test the veracity and validate the occurrences of what is being stated, revealed or acted out. If you inject your beliefs anywhere in the equation you are attaching attributes that are more from your ego’s perspective than what actually happened. Why does your ego do this?
To ensure your self-survival and secure its agenda manifestation above all else. Be an honest and forthright observer; be an honest and unemotional evaluator; be a truthful and NOT false witness to what you observe. BORN AGAIN?

What does it mean to be born again from ‘water and the Spirit’? Does it mean that we come to an understanding that we all come from spirit? Water is the symbol of life that the expression of Divine love from ‘The Spirit’ has bestowed upon all of creation. Water is the soup in which all life congeals, grows and expands.
Understanding this, we can all ‘enter’ the Kingdom of God knowing that the physical begets the physical just as the spiritual begets the spiritual. The Spirit of God has breathed our very lives into existence and given us the ability to hear His still small voice within.
It is we who ultimately choose not to listen and live outside of ourselves in the Kingdom of Expressed Creation (the physical world of water) instead of living inside ourselves in the Kingdom of God (the spiritual world of The Spirit).
As above in the spiritual, so below in the physical. Live in the knowing of spirit more than the believing of your ego and all will be added unto you! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
TEACHER
One of my all time favorite teachers died in 2015. Dr. Wayne Dyer had taught me so much over the course of my life.
I watched him on Super Soul Sunday with Oprah one morning and he talked about his healing from John of God.
He was a brilliant and loving man who gave his all to his teachings and his students. You will be missed Wayne. We, who loved the spirit above all else, love you.

BELIEVING THE TRUTH
People who live outside of themselves will always believe what they want to believe more than know the truth. It comforts them, keeps them in mediocrity and reassures their fears. Only until we all learn how to live in well-being and derive satisfaction thereof instead of fomenting violence, will we continue to be conned by those whose egos cannot see the truth.
The truth can only set you free when you desire to know it more than feeling safe, secure and comfortable. When uncertainty is believed more than certainty is known, violence reigns because it comes from the fear of not knowing. Going within and living from your inner well-being ignites your passion and awakens your knowing of being significant and worthy.
It teaches you to seek truth above all else and live in Divine wisdom. As long as we allow lies, spinning of truth and outright deception to thrive unchecked, we are participating in the proliferation of prevarication throughout the world. Want peace? SYMPATHY?
What is it about some Christians that when they are caught in their obvious hatred for others that their fellow Christians say that we should have sympathy for them and be more loving? They then proceed to tell you that you are fomenting hate when you are, in actuality, identifying aberrance.
What they construe as hate is truth being identified for what it is. Jesus identified the fig tree and cursed it for NOT producing fruit! I do not hate the woman who denied marriage licenses; but I have more empathy for those she has wronged than sympathy for her aberrant actions.
She is the one that has misconstrued what is in the Bible; she is the one who chose to violate the rights of others; she is the one who has a history of adultery, divorce and deceptions. Why should anyone have sympathy for her when SHE created her own mess by allowing her EGO to rule and NOT the Spirit of God!
I love the spirit within her and I despise her selfish ego. She belongs in jail and perhaps there she will learn how to obey the law of the land MORE than her beliefs. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
IMPERIALISM
It never fails when you put the finger on the truth that someone comes out of the woodwork and screams Pearl Harbor and 911.
The truth of the matter is that both PH and 911 were the result of American Imperialism.
A human being is a part of the whole, called by us "Universe," a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separate from the rest—a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness.
The striving to free oneself from this delusion is the one issue of true religion.

TEACHING
A friend once stated that my teachings are similar to Wayne dyer and ACIM. More like Dyer and NOT ACIM. ACIM is a good teaching in the sense that it provides other insights into our shared existence. The problem I have with ACIM is that it presupposes that its take is 'the way it is'. Many have adopted its principles and teachings as 'the way it is' without considering the fact that it was channeled through and individual who had a personal agenda in putting forth the teachings.
Dr. Dyer utilized a great deal of ACIM but tempered it with his psychological training and gave it more of a generalized 'psychological principle' base. I have found that the channeling teachings of Esther Hicks (Abraham) are more close to the mark than ACIM. After many years of scientific research and comparison based revelations of ‘principled’ teachings, I have come to the conclusion that we are an extension of Divine love more than how we identify with our individual egos.
Our egos tend to separate us from living in Divine love because they want to be recognized for their ingenuity in keeping us safe. This ultimately leads to living in ‘mediocrity’ more than beauty! Love what you are and be who you are more than what you believe you are. Know that you are a blessed being of light who shares Divine love with all! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

RIDING HERD
When your beliefs ride herd over the freedoms of others you are NOT following the guidance of God! God loves; we are here to love God, others and ourselves. Speaking the truth IS kindness even when the truth hurts. Living a lie is never understanding reality and loving the truth.
My beliefs stop at the door of your heart and if you so choose to believe what I believe, then you can accept it blindly or you can make the time to test its veracity and validate its occurrences before you accept it as true. In fact, I would prefer that everyone do that with everyone else’s beliefs.
However, many live in fear and choose to follow those fears more than live in Divine love. I choose to be truthful, accurate and forthright in all of my writings, verbal exchanges and in identifying erroneous beliefs. DEALING WITH A TROLL
After dealing with an ignorant troll one night, this is what transpired:
Troll: I guess you're the 1 who needs to grow up. Name calling is quite juvenile.
DAB: Not so, asshole. Name calling is a shortcut way to define your behavior and since I refuse to waste any more words on a child such as you, please go under the bridge and deal with your miserable life. The only thing that is juvenile about name-calling is when the name used to describe your behavior is inaccurate and you have nothing to back it up with or anything for it to be justified. Your appraisal of name-calling in itself is inaccurate and socially based in total and complete ignorance. Peace.

HONORED
I was deeply honored today. A dear friend spoke with me and said that when he was depressed he saw a video I had recorded on a certain topic and it helped ‘spark’ him out of his depression. This person I have looked up to; learned from; and loved all of my life. This person gave me a chance when nobody else would; he let me stay with him when I was looking for a place; he pushed me and pushed me to be the best I could be; which believe me, was way beyond my capability at the time. He never let up on me and it was because of him I learned how to channel my creativity in a productive manner. He never let me make excuses; he drove me further than I had ever expected. When I got off of the phone with him I pulled over to the side of the road for a minute. I had an appointment and didn’t want to be late. I had to take this all in.
What he had taught me came full circle through me and back to him. This person is probably the most talented, brilliant and productive person I have ever known. I felt honored; I felt blessed; but most of all, I felt humble. I uttered a deep thank you to the Divine for allowing me to be a channel for his ‘spark’. Most of all, I was grateful for what had moved through me was used to bless someone else. We all share, debate and downright fight with each other here on FB. However, the one thing that I really enjoy is how we all help each other get through the trials and victories in our individual lives. We are a community of souls who have the need to share and learn from each other.
I know that sometimes in the middle of the night I get out of bed and type something that has come to me. I don’t question it, I listen to it. My desire is laced with the feeling that someone needs to hear this. Someone always needs a little ‘spark’ to light the way. It may be you, it may be me; we might ever know. I am so thankful for this forum on FB. It has introduced me to the most intelligent, kind and loving people I have ever met in my life. I am truly blessed! A LIBERAL?
I’ve been called a ‘Liberal’ again by a Republican troll who needs to get a life. When will they ever learn that calling me what I am proud to be is NOT insulting me? Are they really THAT stupid? Were they born that way or did they have to work at it? When will they ever learn that a conservative mindset is necessary for amassing and utilizing resources and a liberal mindset is necessary for discovering and distributing resources? When will they learn that their conservative ‘my way or the highway’ polarizing philosophy is meant to be integrated with the ‘our way or the highway’ depolarizing philosophy of the ‘liberal’ mindset?
Perhaps they will NEVER learn because their brains are wired for ego more than for the truth of spirit. The good news is that they can grow up and learn how to move from a ‘me’ heartset into a ‘we’ heartset. The bad news is that as long as they listen to over the top conservative morons who are drowning them with their antiquated philosophies they never will. Oh well; we can watch the show and know that they are just performing the same old script with the same old conclusion.
We don’t have to watch the show but it can be humorous at times. Pray for their enlightenment and send them love while you make mince-meat of their selfish and overbearing philosophies.
