Does your life appear to be a convoluted mess? Are things so twisted and intertwined that you don’t know where things end and where they begin? Are you so absorbed in how things appear that you forget just how they got that way? If so, welcome to the human race!
Our viewpoint in life is a result of our emotional reactions and mental proactions layered one on top of another. The outside layers conceal the intertwining of the inner layers so much that we forget the individual building blocks that constructed our viewpoints. We become comfortable with the apparent safety and security of these layered blocks so much that they keep us living in mediocrity.
The only way to move forward is to peel off these layers and get to our core beliefs. Once we know what these beliefs are, we can test their veracity and validate the occurrences that forged these beliefs. If you truly want to live in shared truth, you need to peel off these layers one by one and shine the light of absolute truth upon them in order to reveal them for what they are.
Were they emotional reactions to fears accepted as real? Or were they mental proactions of experience that taught us what we needed to know to ensure our collective survival?
Discernment requires lucid thought. Lucid thought comes from a daily commitment to go within to your center of peace by removing yourself from the din of chaos we collectively experience in the outer world. Prayer is the tool of looking within for the transcendence and immanence of the Divine.
Meditation is the tool for being within to listen to the silent voice of the Divine while immersed in the stillness of the presence of the Divine. Following the guidance you receive from this inner practice and moving your feet to help others is living in Divine service.
Enlightenment never just drops in your lap. It requires positive work in a direction just like climbing a mountain to get to its peak requires dedication, diligence and a forthright attitude of accomplishment. You will never get where you want to be until you get off of your ass and move toward it.
As you move toward it, it moves toward you because you have committed to being what you were created to be more than what you believe you actually are. As Calvin Coolidge once said, “Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.”
Omnipotence, in essence, is Divine love. It is the power that has created the omniverse. We all possess its essence because we ARE that essence! We are the expression of Divine love. When we successfully peel off our emotional and mental layers of convoluted reactions and proactions we come to discover that in our core we ARE Divine love everlasting! Be that which you are more than what you ‘think’ you are and you will live a fulfilled and satisfied life. Be ye therefore omnipotent! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
Do you love yourself enough to live in truth? Or do you take the easy way out and believe what makes you feel good despite information to the contrary? If you truly love yourself enough you do what is necessary to live in the truth with each and every breath. You don’t make excuses to justify your erroneous beliefs or argue for your right to express them when you KNOW they haven’t been proven.
Doing what is necessary to live in truth might be highly uncomfortable at times; but the truth is, it was never meant to be comfortable. If it was, then all of life would flow endlessly without challenges and we would all be living peachy keen lives. Living in truth requires work. It requires diligence and stick-to-it-tiveness.
It is NOT meant for the lazy, slothful and mediocre who blindly accepts what everyone else tells them is the truth. Only you can do what it takes to get off of your ever-widening ass and seek out the truth. Until you do, it will keep widening and you will keep justifying the result by buying a wider chair. This omniverse is vast in its design and content. The further we look out into space the further it stretches away from us. Could it be designed that way for a purpose? Will it keep stretching onward until we start to look deeper within ourselves? Are we but one civilization of many sentient civilizations? Or are we alone?
Enrico Fermi and Micheal H. Hart designed an argument known as the Fermi Paradox to outline whether or not we are alone. “The Fermi paradox (or Fermi's paradox) is the apparent contradiction between high estimates of the probability of the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations, such as in the Drake equation, and the lack of evidence for such civilizations. The basic points of the argument, made by physicists Enrico Fermi and Michael H. Hart, are:
1. The Sun is a typical star, and there are billions of stars in the galaxy that are billions of years older.
2. With high probability, some of these stars will have Earth-like planets and if the earth is typical, some might develop intelligent life.
3. Some of these civilizations might develop interstellar travel, a step the Earth is investigating now.
4. Even at the slow pace of currently envisioned interstellar travel, the Milky Way galaxy could be completely traversed in about a million years.
According to this line of thinking, the Earth should already have been visited by extraterrestrial aliens though Fermi saw no convincing evidence of this, nor any signs of alien intelligence anywhere in the observable universe, leading him to ask, "Where is everybody [wikipedia.com]?"
Yes, where is everybody? Do they zoom by in the night? Do they leave evidence in crop circles or landing strips high in the mountainous regions of the earth? Or are we looking in the wrong places, listening for them to communicate on the wrong frequencies or are we trying to convince ourselves that they exist when there isn’t insurmountable evidence that they do exist?
Whatever it may be, we are looking for the results in order to understand the cause because we look more outside of ourselves than we look inside of ourselves. Just because we cannot find what we are looking for outside of ourselves doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist; nor does it mean that it does exist either! Potential for the growth and expansion of life does not guarantee that life will develop; but will it anyway?
As the fictional character Dr. Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) said in the movie Jurassic Park (1993), “I'm, I'm simply saying that life, uh... finds a way.” Is this true? Despite all of the odds against certain chemicals combining in specific ways in electrically charged water creating ‘life’ that life actually ‘finds a way’ to grow and expand? Is this the true model of the omniverse? Or is it what we choose to ‘believe’ about the omniverse?
Our perceptions will ALWAYS be filtered through our pre-programmed belief systems lodged in our subconscious minds. We cannot experience pure unfiltered observation without previously programmed beliefs tainting our perceptions. Only when we learn to discover, identify and discharge erroneous beliefs about life will we be able to come close to pure unfettered observation. Science knows the power of consciousness to ‘alter’ the outcomes of even the most controlled experiments.
Our consciousness literally ‘guides’ our observations to specific conclusions based on ‘what we want to see’ just as much as what we actually ‘do’ see. Are we alone in this vast omniverse? Only the passage of time will surely tell. And even then, did we allow enough time to pass? Are the discoveries of life beyond our planet just around the corner? When buffoonery is touted as exceptionalism, we have lost the truth of God in the egos of men. God loves his children and cares for their welfare.
Trump does NOT look to God as his source of his greater good; he cannot see beyond his reflection in the mirror or the morons attending his rallies and paying homage to ego.

DIVIDING?
Some people believe that I am not respecting others; that I am dividing more than uniting; and that I am judging others too much; I say the following: I am NOT judging; I am discerning, There IS a difference.
If personal truth violates facts and causes harm to others, then I will identify it as such. I will always respect someone else's right to express their opinion, but I am under no obligation to respect that opinion when it is based on supposition, belief and NOT the facts.
To me, if I say nothing about the prevarications of egomaniacal individuals I am NOT respecting the truth, others and myself. I am sorry that you interpret what I do as 'pitting one person against the other' for that is NOT what my goal is.
My goal is to reveal that which is aberrant, false and being perpetrated on the masses. I am NOT trying to divide anyone; I am trying to 'enlighten' others in how to critically think and determine their own wisdom by going within and listening to the still small voice of the Divine guiding and directing them to their inner truth.
If what someone says or does ultimately does not contribute to the growth and expansion of all, then it must be called out for what it is and not masked under supposition. Being spiritual IS being truthful at all costs! Peace. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
TOXIC?
Does your life feel toxic? Do you feel surrounded by those who repeatedly lie to you, disrespect you, use you or put you down? Do you feel like a victim of circumstance not of your creation? Or do you feel that you are being justifiably punished for thoughts, feeling and behaviors you have committed against others? These thoughts, feelings and behaviors have occurred in the past and are now reflected in your current circumstances.
But how do you remove them from your current experience and the subsequent guilt of harboring their expressions? You detoxify yourself each and every day! Detoxification is a process by which toxins are “changed into less toxic or more readily excretable substances {that are eliminated}; it is where you help yourself to overcome physical and psychological dependence on something outside of your being; e.g. drugs, alcohol [dictionary.com].” Also, the behaviors of others; perceived ‘circumstances’ and beliefs about those circumstances that ultimately create a toxic mindset and heartset.
It is essential that you individually ‘detoxify’ the linkages between your heart and mind to what you believe is affecting the allowance of your natural states of health, wealth, prosperity and abundance. First, you must learn how to ferret out the truth. Perform the work of ‘overturning the rocks’ of deception in order to research the facts, dismiss the opinions of those ‘facts’ and evaluate your perceptions and cognitions of the truth. Dismissing erroneous beliefs can only occur when you challenge and verify their veracity, validate their occurrences and dismiss the ‘lies’ of their ‘truthful’ existence.
Secondly, when someone disrespects you by either trolling, demanding you believe what they believe or outright dismissing your assessment based on their ‘feelings’, unwind their convoluted mindset and heartset by realizing the they don’t have the skillset to differentiate truth from their beliefs in the truth. Someone like this who is confronted with the evidence and still denies the truth is not only ‘disrespecting’ you, but themselves AND the truth.
Thirdly, move away from egomaniacal types who, in order to satisfy their lust for recognition, attempt at every turn to control, dominate and manipulate your thoughts, feeling, beliefs, words, actions and behaviors. They are more interested in ‘using’ you toward their own end than they are in helping you. Fourthly, anyone who puts you down for being whom and what you were created to be is not worthy of interacting with you whatsoever.
Each one of us has talents, skills and abilities that we have been endowed with to serve others. Sharing Divine love means that we share those endowments from our hearts in Divine service to others. Anyone who ‘puts you down’ for doing this is selfish, ignorant of how things actually work in this vast omniverse and more concerned about riding herd over you than even listening to anything that you say, do or make manifest.
By effectively distancing yourself from liars, disrespectful people, abusers and condescending pricks, you have set the process of elimination into motion that excretes the ‘negative’ substances that toxify your life. If you truly want to unfold your Divine purpose in Divine order and become exactly whom and what you were created to be, you must first remove that which is of no value to you in order to make room for that which is of value to you; peace, understanding, joy and Divine love! ~Dean A. Just as the friction of a pinball aligns the ball in the track by effectively dealing with resistance; it allows forward progress to get you to your goal quickly and efficiently. Use the laws of metaphysics to align Divine order with the laws of physics that manifest natural order.
Don’t reinvent the wheel! Ride along it until you get to where you desire to be. Stop fighting, battling and resisting; allow that which is naught to pass through you and feel the joy of what is beautiful to fill your spirit.

WHAT GETS IN YOUR WAY
You can say, do and have anything you want in life yet you choose to believe that events, occurrences, situations, circumstances and the behaviors of yourself or others get in your way. The only thing that gets in your way is NOT trusting in God!
Only when you trust in that which has created you, nurtured you and loved you will you be able to truly know that all external appearances are illusions that you accept as real. You were created with a Divine purpose and only you can ALLOW that Divine purpose to unfold in Divine order.
Stop your complaining; stop your moaning; quit your bitching and stop getting in your own way. You were meant to be perfect in Divine love and you will be when you stop allowing the distractions of the outer world to take precedent over what Divine guidance gives you in your inner world.

ONENESS WITH GOD
Religion and Spirituality both begin with accepting, adopting and nurturing beliefs. The ultimate goal for both is Oneness with God. But that’s just how far it gets; the paths to Oneness are very different. Religion is a collective understanding of behaviors, doctrine and ultimately dogma that uses the experiences of others to provide the guidance of the followers of a religion. It comes down to adopting the perceptions of others to be the benchmarks of your religious experience.
Spirituality, on the other hand, is an individual understanding of intentions, processes and ultimately laws that use your individual communion with the Divine to provide guidance in being a leader in your own life. Both religion and spirituality start with beliefs; and through a process of growth and expansion, convert those beliefs that have been thoroughly tested for veracity and validated by their occurrences into a Divine ‘knowingness’. This knowingness is being divinely inspired to move in the flow of the unfolding of Divine order.
Beliefs bring you to the table of the feast of wisdom and knowingness permits you to indulge. The process of moving from a life based on your beliefs into a life based on knowingness is the process of moving from the self-centeredness of your ego into the SELF-reverence of your inner Spirit of God. It is moving away from the individual mind to heart programming of accepted beliefs into the collective heart to mind programming or realized knowing. The ego uses fear-based perceptions to control, dominate and manipulate the acceptance of beliefs into your belief system.
Beliefs are repeated thoughts from your ego that you accept as true without challenging whether they are accurate or erroneous. They are difficult to unwind sometimes because of an individually-minded focus of self-preservation. As a result, beliefs generate a resistance to change because one has to move out of their comfort zone of safety, security and surety. The inner Spirit of God uses faith-based perceptions to awaken the experience of Divine love in your heart.
Knowing the truth of reality is utilizing selected thoughts from the Divine that you accept as true without challenge because you have experienced the results of similar occurrences in your life. These ‘knowings’ are easy to understand because of a collectively-‘hearted’ focus. As a result, knowings generate a state of ongoing allowance of mutual growth and expansion.
We are more than what we believe we are! We are the essence of the Divine fulfilling our Divine purposes in Divine order perfectly when we allow Divine love to flow through us and into our world. Why is it that we believe so easily in the things we yearn to happen? Is it because it is convenient for us to do so? Or is it because we feel that if we don’t we will miss out on something great? Are we acting more out of desperation than inspiration?
When we are desperate we toss all caution to the wind in hopes of instant gratification. When we are inspired, we allow that inspiration to unfold naturally in Divine order knowing that it will bless everyone involved. Life is beautiful; it is our perceptions of it that skew its normalcy by allowing our established beliefs, whether accurate or erroneous, to taint our perceptions. Move from believing in the results of life to knowing the intentions in life that manifest the results.
Only when ‘believing’ thoughts are replaced with ‘knowing’ thoughts do we have the passion necessary to effectively move forward and realize our innermost dreams and Divine desires of our hearts. Be ye therefore knowing! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

WHAT YOU DIDN'T DO
If it’s true that it’s not what you do, but what you didn’t do, then what is it that you aren’t doing to be fulfilled? Are you allowing too many distractions to deviate you from making the right steps at the right time and with the right people to ‘feel’ fulfilled? Are you wasting your precious time on frivolous activities that ‘fill the hole’ so that you don’t get bored? Are you procrastinating doing what you need to do to fulfill your Divine purpose in Divine order?
If what you didn’t do in life adds up to more than you did do, how will you feel? Will you be satisfied? Or will you live in regret of what you should have done when you had the time and the opportunities? Aristotle said that you cannot understand happiness until you have lived a full life and look back on what you have accomplished. What have you accomplished? Have you written that book; recorded that CD or DVD; shared your talents, skills and abilities with others?
If you haven’t, it’s never too late to be fulfilled. The spark of creativity is ever-present in you and it is YOU that either stifles it, or allows it to spread your inner well-being. Let go of any and all erroneous beliefs that declare that you are ‘over-the-hill, too old or not talented enough. Only you can decide to choose what makes you feel fulfilled, and ultimately, be happy. Be the Divine love that you are and live a fulfilled life. It is up to you and you alone! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
Tenderness, concern and genuine interest are what we all want. Anything else is a substitute for what we believe we need and NOT what we KNOW we need! To feel loved we must give love. I have had some people comment on memes and 'enlighten' me about a certain point on the meme that I had said in my status when I posted the meme. It's as if they only look at the meme and ignore what I had said completely. There are many who choose to ignore 'politics' without realizing that it affects everything in their lives. ~Dean A. MISGUIDED EGO
Confidence without anything to back it up is nothing but misguided ego. The insecurity of not relaying the truth in favor of your opinion makes you vulnerable to insults.
A person who insults another is not always coming from a position of weakness. Perhaps they have chosen not to behave like the person they are insulting because IT DOESN’T WORK and they will no longer be associated with aberrant behaviors.
People who get insulted and don't have a leg to stand on sometimes try to turn it around on someone who is insulting them when they are caught in their bullshit.
If what they are doing is taking away life and value from another, hurting them in any way or simply placating their egos, then insults are justified and turning it around on the one who is insulting or calling them names is worse than accepting the truth of their vanity and self-centeredness. ~Dean A. ANIMAL WELFARE
IN THEIR LANGUAGE
In my experience I have seen many things and I stand by what I have said.
When you grow up you realize that you have to talk to people in the language that they understand and NOT what YOU believe is 'appropriate'.
When someone is being an asshole I will call them an asshole; that doesn't mean that I don't love the spirit within them.

GROWING UP
What does it mean to have grown up? Simply, it means that you accept people as they are and not what you want them to be. Each one of us has a different perspective of life based on what we value on our perceived journey. When your beliefs become dogma is when you are NOT allowing your greater good to flow through you and into the lives of others.
You can set standards of behaviors based on your values and express those values as absolutes in your life. However, when you impose those values on others as absolutes, you are creating more resistance than allowance. What causes this? It is your ego trying to control, dominate and manipulate your accepted values upon others without their consent.
Now, if their ‘values’ interfere with the freedom of others, cause them hurt or diminish their experience of Divine love, then it is their egos that are in control and NOT the Spirit of God. You can either walk away from your association with them or call them out for what they are. And why not both? Yeshua called out the Pharisees by calling them ‘vipers’ and then walked away from interacting with them. He did not verbally challenge them to incite a fight through his direct insult of their behaviors. He called it as he saw it and then moved on.
Don’t let anyone ever tell you that you are not sharing Divine love by being tough with ‘vipers’. Tough love IS speaking the truth despite people’s ‘feelings’ getting hurt. Learn how to be strong and grow a pair! Stop with this New Age Bullcrap of ‘just send them love and go about your way.” How can you ever expect a fool to learn better behaviors by NOT speaking to them in a language that they understand? Don’t allow the simpleton interpretation of others who don’t have a clue of how to deal with life ‘as it is’ to determine your sharing of Divine love.
The essence of sharing Divine love IS speaking the truth about aberrant behavior and being stern about correcting it. Anything else is fooling yourself with platitudes of behavior that don’t truly work. Remember, only those who desire to be their best will ever become their best. If you speak in the silence of Divine love it will mostly fall on deaf ears unless the desire to grow and expand is in someone’s heart.
