I respect all people and their belief systems when they are based on truth, caring and love. When they are based on separation, acrimony and/or ego, I reject them outright. I seek not to tell them that they are wrong in their beliefs and values, but to suggest to them that if what they believe and value is not contributing to the growth and expansion of all, then it is of the ego and NOT God.
A good friend or guide points the way but does not take the steps for anyone; the guide shows the way to listen to the still small voice of God in order for a person to discover their own truth. Sometimes being the guide means that others will misinterpret what you say or do based on their sensitivities to certain issues that they identify with, are passionate about or simply see as immutable.
My job is to listen, relay, act and behave from the spirit just as it is your job to do so as well. We might not always agree on semantics, concepts, beliefs or values, but that is not what is important. What is important is that we respect the divinity within each and every one of us and realize that we might behave inappropriately or harshly, but that doesn’t mean that we are evil people.
We have emotions that trigger responses to the beliefs and values we hold dear to our hearts and it is our egos that have to make them ‘right’ at all costs. When operating from the spirit, there is no right or wrong; there is only love. Peace. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
GOVERNMENT
Government has its functions and it is the conservative agenda to bring it down just by them working in it.
That way they can control everything, everybody and pocket the goodies. Evil, despicable and totally corruptible. Their time is coming to an end.
The Spirit of God is complete command and evil will reap what it sows.

In a debate there are different ways to respond to the argument your opponent introduces. When you answer the question presented by your opponent directly, your opponent can then respond directly or attack your character to initialize an emotional response in you and the audience. This is known as an ‘ad hominem’ attack; it is a Latin expression meaning “to the man.” An ad hominem argument is one that relies on personal attacks rather than reason or substance [dictionary.com].
If your response is skewed based on how you look at and feel about women and their role in society, then your response is said to be ‘ad feminam’. Now, let’s look at what has happened recently about women’s reproductive rights. Ad hominem and ad feminam attacks and responses have proliferated from both sides of the issues. Why? To generate an emotional response in you in order to get you out and vote for the candidate who aligns with your view on women’s rights. If we strip away the emotion completely, we can see the ‘real’ picture.
Each one of us has a body that we live our lives in and most of us believe we have a right to treat this body as we so choose. No one has the right to inflict their will on anyone else to manifest their agendas. Murder is illegal and punishable by death in some cases because it involves someone making the choice to deprive another of their right to their own life.
Rape is illegal and punishable in our society because it involves someone forcing their will upon another and violating their body. For a man to decide how a woman should treat her body is NOT coming from experience but from supposition. He does not have a female body and has NO right to choose how to treat that body because he does not live in that body. Women, and women alone, have the right to choose how they will live in their bodies and should not live in fear of persecution as a result of their choices concerning their bodies.
Sandra Fluke stood up for herself against the bigot Rush Limbaugh and his ad feminam attacks on her. She rose to the occasion and stood her ground. She is a true ‘shero’! Her acceptance and dedication to ‘owning’ her body over the agendas of men who have NO clue what it is to be female is inspiring. Much like the civil rights movement was inspiring. My shero when I was a child was Rosa Parks. She was so tired after working hard one day that when she was told to give up her seat and move to the back of the bus so that a white person could take her seat she said, “No!”
We all need to say NO to bigotry, sexism and those who foster separation of the races. We all bleed, breathe and exercise the three ‘S’s every day. We might appear different on the outside but we all have the Spirit of God on the inside. Identify with the Spirit of God and live from that center. Then, and only then, will we be able to see things as they are and NOT how others ‘color’ them to be. ARE YOU MORE IMPORTANT?
Each and every time you try to slow down, hinder or halt progress to manifest a selfish agenda in which you will benefit somehow, you are broadcasting a message to the omniverse that your needs are more important than anyone else’s. You are polarizing yourself with negative energies that will fold in on themselves and create the opposite of what you seek. You will be fooled into thinking that what you seek will be manifested if you hold your ground but, in fact, due to that resistance you are broadcasting, what manifests will be the same situation persisting until you ‘realize’ that it isn’t working.
Take the Republican overly conservative members of Congress who repeatedly, day after day, say “No” to progress. They continually broadcast their negative responses and more and more every day people realize just how much they are lying, distracting their constituency from the facts and acting like bullies on a playground. Partisan restrictive cloture, filibusters and minority censure are not needed anymore. If 51% of the Congress says “Yes”, then it should become law.
No more pussyfooting around to placate the minority viewpoint. We, the people who CARE about equality, deserve better. Call your representatives and demand campaign finance reform and the immediate removal of the tools of deadlock (partisan restrictive cloture, filibusters, censure) from our legislative bodies. ~Dean A. BEFORE IT IS
ALL SAID AND DONE
Just when it is all said and done you remember something that you should have done before it was all said and done. The question remains: Should I have done it at all? Will it not come out OK because I didn’t do it? Or did I purposely forget it so that it would be all said and done?
Whatever you might think about things in afterthought they were manifested as they should be and they cannot be changed because they are now academic. Don’t second guess your actions and behaviors because that is living in the past.
What is done is done and you can only ‘reframe’ the past in your mind but not change what has been manifested. In the reframe you can see why things manifested as they did and learn from the experience instead of regretting the outcome of the experience.
Be kind to yourself and don’t beat yourself up for what you did or didn’t do. Be here now and be thankful for how things unfold. Your future will be brighter when you do. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
SUBTLE DECEPTIONS
When you begin to think that you have an edge on others because you have discovered your spirituality, it’s your ego that is subtly deceiving you. The ego has to have ‘the edge’ on everything in order to justify its own existence. It is constantly seeking ways to take command and run the whole show; even when it knows it can’t.
The chemical-emotional instinctive-reactive mind of the ego has one duty; self-survival at all costs. It doesn’t care about anyone else but you. It will do whatever it can to convince you that your understanding of spirituality is superior to others and that you have the ‘deeper’ and ‘more accurate’ way of tapping into the Divine. The fact is that each and every one of us has this capability at all times. Some call it intuition; others call it Divine guidance and some call it good guesses. Whatever anyone calls it the fact remains that it is always there when you tune into it and no other individual has more or less of a degree of utilizing that inner connection to the entire omniverse.
Make the time to be one on one with the Divine, your Higher Self or the expression of nature. Understand that being spiritual is allowing all of life to be as it is, to accept that and live in peace without reacting to its expressions. Know that being spiritual means that you proact and share love with all into your environment. Some will accept it and others will reject it. It is not your job to convince them to be spiritual.
It is your job to be true to your spiritual principles in the face of adversity, distractions and the aberrant behavior of individuals who have yet to identify with their individual spiritual connection. Stay focused and be diligent in living in your spirituality. It is the awareness of such that allows you unfold your Divine purpose in Divine order and live a life of complete fulfillment. ~Dean A. Declaring one's right to believe in the tenets of their religion or NOT to believe in them is NEVER stupid. It is being truthful and loving.
Stupidity is the result of thinking that you have 'the way' when in reality it is 'a way.' Freedom from religion is just as valid as freedom of religion.

NOT TRUSTING COMPLETELY?
When you feel that you need to be forgiven for standing your ground for what is right and good, it is not trusting completely in God. No forgiveness is necessary.
You have a right to believe or not believe in whatever you choose. You are an individualized expression of the Divine and your Divine purpose is for YOU to unfold in Divine order. If anyone calls you stupid, misguided or totalitarian it is in fact they who are!

ALWAYS ETERNAL
When someone tells you that they have the way to eternal life tell them that’s why they are talking to you now; to learn that they have always been eternal in spirit and eternity exists right now. If they leave without saying a word they have a chance at understanding this and if they don’t go about your way and thank them for sharing their love with you. Ego cannot and will not see that we are eternal because its pats itself on the back every time it protects us and for keeping us safe from harm.
No human being has ‘the way’ to the Divine or is privy to any ‘secret’ knowledge of how the Divine works. A person can only relay what works for them and what doesn’t work. Trust in the fact that every atom in your body has existed from the beginning of time and that your spirit is from whence it came.
You are eternal because you are a child of God; you were created in the image and likeness of God and reflect the Divine projection of love. Your individual reflection is clear when you maintain the health of your body, remove erroneous beliefs from your heart that deny your wealth of spirit, remove negative thoughts that deny your ongoing prosperity from your mind and allow your spirit to manifest the abundance of nature through you into your life.
You experience eternity from moment to moment; be here now and know your divinity. Never allow anyone to tell you that you are anything less than a child of God by blackmailing you with the concept of sin and separation to control your ‘connection’ with God. Christ ended that a long time ago and many people still want to perpetuate what they ‘think’ he said while not paying attention to what he truly said. Be ye therefore perfect. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
YOUR INTERPRETATION?
What makes you feel that your interpretation of the spirit is correct? What makes me feel that mine is correct? Is it Divine wisdom or is it your ego conning you? Or me? There is an acid test to what is ‘divinely revealed’ to you or me. If what is revealed does not contribute to the growth and expansion of all then it is of the ego; plain and simple.
The Divine has created everything and administers the Creation of nature through the implementation of Divine love in Divine order; which moves natural order to fulfill our Divine purposes. When things are obviously not working in your life it reveals that there is too much control from your ego and NOT obedience to the Spirit of God within. When the picture comes into focus the truth is revealed.
Allow the spirit to guide you and direct you to the mutual fulfillment of all. You don’t see the entire picture but the Divine always does. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
THE COLD NOVEMBER RAIN
Our choices are quite clear this November. We will either be ‘Stronger Together’ as Hillary’s slogan states or we will ‘Make America Great Again’ as Trump claims. Now what does it mean to be stronger together? In actuality, it means that we learn how to work together for peace and that we will be stronger as a result. Trump says that we will make America great again? How do you make genocide, slavery and misogyny great again? It is a confliction in terms that are meant to confuse and offset one from thinking about what it truly means. Making America Great Again means that we were once great and now we aren’t. It is ALL collective EGO!!!
Our country is a Republic; a state in which the supreme power rests in the body of citizens entitled to vote and is exercised by representatives chosen directly or indirectly by them [dictionary.com]. In fact, we are a democratic republic which is government by the people; a form of government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised directly by them or by their elected agents under a free electoral system [dictionary.com]. The theme here is that the power is in the PEOPLE and NOT the corporations and their wealthy constituents. When this occurs it is called a plutocracy; a government or state in which the wealthy class rules [dictionary.com].
The best way to convince the people that the wealthy can rule effectively and look out for the best interests of the PEOPLE, is to convince them ever so subtly that they are administering a theocracy; a form of government in which God or a deity is recognized as the supreme civil ruler, the God's or deity's laws being interpreted by the ecclesiastical authorities. When the wealthy ruling class convinces those less discerning individuals of the middle and lower financial classes, based on their façade of faith in God, then we are moving toward a plutocracy with an ‘implied’ theocracy.
When the power of the PEOPLE is willingly transferred to the plutocracy fascism rears its ugly face; fascism is a governmental system led by a dictator (in our case, conglomerates of corporations spending billions of advertising dollars to sway our vote) having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism [dictionary.com]. Now what does the last word say?
Isn’t the birther argument just plain and simple racism? Who is its chief proponent? Donald Trump; one who would benefit immensely from a plutocracy with a clandestine fascist agenda. The wealthy cry about a ‘free market’ without ‘governmental regulation’ and decry what happened with Wall Street. Greed outweighed caring and supporting the citizens of this country who are the veins, arteries and capillaries of our survival. Our choices are included in the following:
Trump wins the presidency with a Republican majority in Congress. All of what the middle class has worked for and succeeded in passing (ACA) will be UNDONE. We will be living in a false world of trickle-down economics where we will be heading more toward a plutocracy with a façade of a theocracy.
Trump wins the presidency with a Democratic majority in Congress. Everything Trump tries to do will be blocked by Congress. We will have a rerun of the last four years with Republican obstructionism except now it will be the Democrats.
Clinton wins the presidency with a Republican majority in Congress. Four more years of deadlock and NO progress with the bullies on the playground. Our economy will grow ever so slowly while we all struggle more financially.
Clinton wins the presidency with a majority of Democrats in Congress. Now we’re talking. Growth will continue and many who have no health care will be able to seek treatment, become healthy and contribute to the work force. This is the scenario we need to grow and expand into a fruitful society.
If you don’t believe what I have said above I suggest getting off of your ever-widening ass and go to the library. Do the research and DON”T parrot what some political pundit says. Don’t allow the corporate lobbyists to determine our collective futures. Don’t allow foreign and corporate monies to buy our elections. Look at the handwriting on the wall and translate it into what it truly means; if you vote for a plutocracy you have just given away your freedom and liberty to those who don’t give a god-damned about you and your family. The choice is clear. Make the right choice. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
How will you live today? Will you walk in peace or look for a challenge to your posture? Will you be supportive and encouraging or will you snarl at and demean others? Will you effectively seek inner communication and outward fulfillment or will you dismiss your Divine desires in favor of the status quo?
Every bodily pain or inconvenience you can either deal with or forget about. Every emotion that comes to your heart you can either worry about them or let them go. Every thought that comes to your mind you can either dismiss or entertain. Every flash of insight or intuition you can either embrace and implement or simply dismiss as impossible to manifest.
When you are in the present you can make the good of bad choices that will set the tone for how you will live today. When you dwell on the past or the future you are NOT living in the NOW! Be here now and express all that is good and perfect about whom and what you truly are; now and ever more. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
BETRAYED BY DICK
We were betrayed by one person 15 years ago; Dick Cheney. He had the power to shoot down those planes before they hit the Twin Towers and the Pentagon.
He gave the order to let them fly through our defense net and strike their targets to fulfill his agenda and get us to buy into the war he had interest and investment in; the military industrial complex.
He is a traitor to this country and should be tried for treason and the murder of of over 3000 people. If you don't believe me, read Secretary Mineta's testimony to the 911 Commission. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
THE DUMBING DOWN
Civics courses in schools now are in the dumbing down business for our youth to accept what is and not challenge the powers that be. Critical thinking is out of the window. They want automatons distracted by video games and having just enough knowledge to push the next button and have the machines do the work.
If they are too busy and self absorbed they won't realize what the powers that be are doing and they will get away with whatever they want. Who are they? The puppets and puppet masters of the military industrial complex, the corporate conglomerates of banks and news; those who want you to work to make them more and more money while they make more and more money off of your hard earned labors.
Stop the control, domination and manipulation of the human machine and vote for the sanctity of the human condition. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
TWO DIFFERENT THINGS
Wanting to know the truth and wanting to believe the truth are two different things. Knowing the truth requires observation, evaluation, collation, discernment AND intuition.
Believing the truth requires experience, judgment, opinion and feeling. When what you firmly believe passes all of the tests for veracity (observation, evaluation, collation, discernment) and you intuitively align with it, then you KNOW it’s the truth.
Not passing these tests of veracity and acting on belief alone reveals that your ego is more in command in your being than the Spirit of God. Christ said your judgment can be just, but the discernment of beliefs from the Spirit of God within determines the knowingness of the truth. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
JUMPING TO CONCLUSIONS?
Beliefs are repeated thoughts anchored with emotional convictions that are personal in nature and can be shared with others, but only require personal observation and minimal repetition to be accepted as true by most people. Knowledge is the result of understanding the relationship between accurately collected information based on facts and NOT opinion.
When we jump to conclusions based on what we believe is right we are negating the possibility that what we believe is erroneous and not based on fact. What we believe could have been based on fact ‘at that time’, but as the omniverse grows and expands things progress and unfold into more or less developed states. That is why it is necessary for us to periodically re-evaluate what beliefs are in fact ‘real’ and which ones are in fact ‘erroneous’.
Life is not static; it is always changing dynamically based on what we perceive as principles and laws. When we ignore the dynamic state of the omniverse and stick to our beliefs regardless of their veracity or not, we are allowing ourselves to succumb to agenda manifestation which in essence has NOTHING to do with the truth. Using our beliefs and sheer will to control, dominate and manipulate the flow of accurate information is NOT being truthful.
It is being selfish by attempting to manifest an agenda one thinks, feels and believes is right; when in fact, it very often is NOT! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
NO COMPLAINTS
If you don't vote, then you have no right to complain about our collective progress. It is your right AND privilege to vote and NOT to vote.
To not exercise your right to vote is to not respect your freedoms and liberty. Those who pontificate about their opinion that their vote doesn't matter and make excuses not to vote have no right to complain.
Your vote counts and it is your individual expression of what leaders you want to allow our country to grow and expand. Make a statement about who you are and what you want this world to become. Go out and VOTE! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
YOUR LIFE IS A DIVINE GIFT!
Always remember that your life is a gift from the Divine. It wasn’t given frivolously; it was given with an express purpose.
If you truly trust in the Divine make it a habit to get out of your own way and become whom and what you were created to be.
Faith in your purpose, trust in the Divine and loving your neighbor as yourself are the keys to the kingdom of peace in your entire being.

Experiencing inner spirituality is like bathing in lukewarm waters after a stressful day. As you feel the stress of the day melt into the waters, a feeling of complete peace becomes predominant in your mind and body.
Every moment we feel this peace we are experiencing alignment with the omniverse. It is a physically induced spiritual experience. It is when we try to share this experience with others that our minds begin to intellectualize the experience into words that motivate others into experiencing what we have felt.
Something inevitably gets lost in the translation; the essence of the experience. Spirituality, unlike religion, is a personal one-on-one experience. It is the easily accessible state of inner peace no matter what goes on around you. We can share our experience of spirituality more in our social actions and behaviors than we can by describing our feelings of them.
The example that we set in our own lives demonstrates the effectiveness of our spiritual experience more than converting others to a static and dogmatic religion. When one tries to realize, formalize and dogmatize spirituality they are missing the point of just what it is; an experience of your inner divinity. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
THE SHIELD
Divine Love is the shield that projects from your heart and reflects back to your entire being. Love never invites attack but those who do not live in love attack because they don't know it deep within.
They attack because their egos are selfish and demand attention and if you react with ego the conflict is escalated. Love diffuses the ego and it shields you from its attack.
Love is our protection from our ego's demand for center stage; it is who and what we truly are. Emanate Divine love every moment of your life and be the love you were created to be. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
SELF CORRECT
Making mistakes is the way we humans self-correct. It is when we ‘learn’ from our mistakes that we craft strategies to either not allow certain behaviors to manifest unexpected results or embrace what behaviors are needed to be exercised in order to manifest our expected results.
Every time the Apollo spacecraft went to the Moon it was pointed in the right direction but had to make ‘mid-course’ corrections along the way. Why? Because no matter how much you are pointed in the right direction as you travel the journey you encounter experiences that subtly alter your course.
These occurrences are so subtle that you don’t always notice them until their effect has already been manifested. Throwing your hands up in the air and giving up is not the answer; realizing that you need to pay attention along the journey and make course corrections is the ‘proactive’ way of dealing with unperceived anomalies.
Remember, as we traverse our journey of unfolding our Divine purpose in Divine order that the Infinite Creator of the omniverse is always deep within us giving us advice. This always occurs when we tune into our inner spirit of stillness and silence. It doesn’t work when we predominantly listen to the selfish demands of the ego. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Thinking too much about perceived problems creates scenarios that 'could' happen, but probably won't. Feeling what this could do to you adds to the emotional burden of dealing with perceived problems.
Most of what you doubt, worry about or fear NEVER happens. Your mind is a fertile field and your heart experiences the joys or pains whether they occur or not.
Reject what you desire not and allow the blessings of the Divine to guide you to complete fulfillment of your Divine purpose in Divine order. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
CONSPIRACY THEORISTS
I have truly had it with the ‘burning effigy and drinking the blood of humans’ conspiracy theorists. They discover little facts and compound them into grandiose stories of human degradation that is appalling. One of my former friends recently defriended me because he tried and tried to convince me of ‘his’ truth and I wouldn’t buy what he was selling. We, as humans, have a spiritual center that we either recognize or block out depending on our state of maturity in handling the aspects of control, domination and manipulation being forced on us by our egos.
We can buy into some conspiracy theories if we so choose, however, we need to base these beliefs on verifiable FACTS, not conjecture and others’ opinions. When we blindly believe something without seeking verification, it reveals our level of maturity. Some of us truly need to GROW UP! Make the time to research the facts before you blatantly put your foot in your mouth. Why? If you are charismatic and convincing in your tone and demeanor you are still responsible for what you represent to others. If you convince them of your veracity based on ‘how’ you present your facts and not based on the veracity of the facts, you are a LIAR
! A liar is a manipulator of the facts and uses this manipulation to fulfill his or her manifestation of their agenda. It is broadcasting a lie to the omniverse that will be reflected back on you directly in proportion to how much you try to convince others. In other words, the more convincing you are to others, the more easily you will be convinced by little facts that add up to bigger pictures that you ‘believe’ instead of seeking to validate their truthfulness.
Don’t be fooled by your ego into believing something based on little disparate facts; before you congeal these facts into a ‘bigger’ picture research the origin of those facts and who said them. What is their possible agenda in relaying those facts? Who are they trying to convince and why? Discover their motivations and you will discover whether the ‘facts’ are tainted with agenda manifestation or not. Seek the truth and test its validity through thorough research and diligent study. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
LIVING IN FEAR
When you live in fear you will defend that lifestyle because it is comfortable for you and it reinforces what you expect in life.
When you live in faith you let go of fear and you build a life that reflects maturity, love and the successful integration of yourself into your community and the world. Defending ego blocks out the Light.

FALLING BACK
Falling back to a position of fear instead of trust due to 'human' resolve is admitting that you really didn't trust in the first place.
It shows that you didn’t truly trust and wanted to believe; but when the circumstances didn't turn out like you had hoped for, then you abandon your belief.
If you had truly trusted in the first place, the best would have manifested for all without any beliefs as to what and how things were manifested. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
LOST IN A SEA
I am lost in a sea of ever expanding consciousness using my spiritual connection to the Divine to navigate through the channels of conflicting and rushing waters.
No matter where I am or what rocks on the shores I hit, I am protected by the love of the Divine. I am blessed every day with that knowingness of spirit and it is my safe passage through tumultuous waters.

MOMENT TO MOMENT
Maintaining a relationship with the Creator of the omniverse is a moment to moment ongoing experience. The very ‘soup’ in which we exist was molded and crafted to create our living bodies that have generated our consciousness and awareness of our environment. We are the omniverse of the Divine become consciously aware of itself through our individual experiences.
The next breath of gases that you take provides the respiration necessary to maintain your psycho-physical existence. The next food and water you ingest feeds your physical cells to maintain the consciousness of the omniverse and to absorb the energies of the ‘soup’ known and experienced as our collective environment.
The omniverse has evolved to a state where we, as conscious and sentient beings come to realize just whom and what we are in the scheme of things. We are here to observe, remember, organize and reflect in our thoughts to majesty of the omniverse. Our lessons in individual realization are the feedback from the omniverse for us to understand ourselves.
When we understand just who and what we are we contribute to the growth and expansion of all of life by allowing the creative spirit to move through us each and every moment. Be aligned and tuned with all of life by making the time each and every day for communion with the Divine. It is always there; even if we sometimes forget it is. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
INDIVIDUALIZED
EXPRESSIONS
You are an individualized expression of Divine love in action. Why do you interrupt the flow of Divine love with selfish desires and attention seeking behavior?
Because you don’t truly know in your heart of hearts that trusting in the Divine is the only way to fulfill your Divine purpose in Divine order.
If you did, you would allow Divine love to flow through you unfettered into all of life. Anything else is just plain fooling yourself. Be ye therefore perfect. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

If you work in exchange for pay and a portion of your pay is taken by taxes, the employer and the government should be thankful for your service and compensate you for your health maintenance. Love IS freely given. It is not earned. What you perceive as LOVE is not true love when you feel it has to be earned. It is gratitude for something you have ‘done’ for another. It is of value and it is something that should be freely given to EVERY LIVING BEING. Why? Because within everything that exists there is a center; the Spirit of God. Everyone, no matter who they are, deserves to be treated with love because GOD IS WITHING THEM. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
