Always remain focused on what makes you feel happy. You were created with an internal program that only you know that triggers your happiness.

If someone tries to distract you from that happiness get away from them as quick as you can. They are trying to subtly control, dominate and manipulate your feelings and impose what they think makes you happy or sad in order for you to believe that it is them who brings you happiness.

Don’t buy into it! People who truly love, care and respect one another allow each other to attain their own state of happiness within without trying to be the bringer of happiness to one another.

Divine love is what brings about true happiness. Nurture that each and every day and live in true happiness. Peace and blessings to you. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

There is a difference between the Ego's 'expectations' and Divine 'expectations'. The ego believes that if it 'gives' something that it expects that which it gives to be returned in kind simply because it has given it.

Divine expectation is simply allowing the Divine to work through you and knowing that your Divine purpose will be fulfilled in Divine order. Any repeated and accepted thought can become a belief when emotionalized.

Be discerning in the thoughts you choose because they have a physical effect upon your body, mind and soul when you add intense emotions to them.

Stop resisting what you perceive is not beneficial to you and simply allow it to be and your ‘expectation’ for the best results for all will be manifested in Divine order. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

No matter what we share about how to remove erroneous beliefs and come to an understanding of where those beliefs originated, there will always be those who dig in and defend their beliefs whether they are sound or not.

Ego has a way of blinding us to the truth in order to manifest its agenda at all costs. The more rocks we overturn, the more diverse 'opinions' are borne from the ego's fear of not being in control.

Every time I take a stand on politics I lose friends but somehow, I gain new ones! Thanx to all of you who stick around and come on board. At least the discussion is NEVER boring! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Grasshopper: Master, why do people attack each other?
Master: Because they fear that another will make them do something that they don’t want to do.
Grasshopper: And why would they fear that someone else would make them do something that they wouldn’t want to do?
Master: Because they live outside of themselves and don’t know their own power.
Grasshopper: And what power do they have, Master?
Master: The power to choose their actions and behaviors.
Grasshopper: If they don’t know their own power, then why do they attack another? Shouldn’t they be feeling some power within in order to attack?
Master: As with the day and night, there are two aspects of each day; the time where most things are seen and the time where some things are hidden.
Grasshopper: I don’t understand, Master.
Master: During the day the bright light reveals our reality and casts shadows where some things are hidden. During the night the darkness subdues reality and hides what is normally seen.
Grasshopper: And what does this have to do with power, Master?
Master: We experience a sense of power when we can clearly see the direction in which we are going because we know where we are headed; when we cannot clearly see we become unsure of our direction and react in fear to what is unknown.
Grasshopper: Then why do we react with fear?
Master: Because we do not know our own power; if we did, then we would clearly see our end result and know that whether our path was well lit or not, that we would arrive at our destination safely.
Grasshopper: How then, Master do we come to a sense of our own power?
Master: We choose to act as if what we seek is in fact, reality. We choose our own conclusion, accept it as real and allow it to happen.
Grasshopper: Then Master, we must believe what is not real in order to make it become real?
Master: Our beliefs are the starting point of what we do and what we don’t do. Our beliefs must be let go in order to completely trust in the result we seek. Faith in the worthiness of oneself, trust in the Infinite Spirit and allowance of Divine blessings are what creates reality.
Grasshopper: But Master, if we do not do this, is this why we attack another?
Master: We attack others because we choose to fear what they are saying or doing and that it will somehow affect our own survival. It is because we do not understand our own power to be able to create our reality; it is not what others do, it is what we do or do not.
Grasshopper: Yes, Master; so if we understand our own power, we need to act and behave in accordance with that power?
Master: Yes, Grasshopper; we need to do what we know and do not what we don’t know.
Grasshopper: And our understanding of our power makes this happen, Master?
Master: As anger is the power that unleashes hate, joy in the understanding of peace is the power that unleashes love.
Grasshopper: And what is anger, Master?
Master: Anger is the power that arises from the feeling of not being treated fairly and hating that this condition exists.
Grasshopper: Then, what is joy, Master?
Master: Joy is the power that arises from the feeling of peace and loving is the result of that feeling.
Grasshopper: So, if one attacks another, it is from their not being able to feel their own power and not being able to see clearly what they are seeking?
Master: Yes.
Grasshopper: And if one is joyous, it is because they have experienced peace and are able to see clearly what they are seeking?
Master: Yes. Anger is the result of seeing and feeling only darkness in the light and joy is the result of seeing and feeling only light in the darkness.
Grasshopper: Then Master, if we choose to see the good in others then we would not feel that we need to attack them?
Master: Yes.
Grasshopper: And if we see the evil in others then we would feel the need to attack them?
Master: Only if we give our power away to them because of our fear is greater than our joy.
Grasshopper: Then understanding our power and retaining it is the reason we won’t attack another and fear is the reason we do?
Master: Fear is what keeps us from peace and anger is what keeps us from love. Fear not and understand that all that unfolds is for the purpose of the growth and expansion of all. When you attack another you are attacking yourself.

Why do you fret over that which you cannot control? What is it about your ego that it feels that it must control all facets of life? Why can it not see that it isn’t all that? Actually, it’s quite simple. Without the ego’s favorite tool of ‘worry’ it cannot create the drama of life in which it pats itself on the back for ‘coming to the rescue’, so to speak. It constantly needs to justify its own existence and validate its worth to your inner spirit.

When you are aligned with your inner spirit you understand what it does and its ongoing folly. You allow it to ‘suggest’ certain courses of action when it is necessary but you temper its ‘judgment’ with the guidance from the Spirit of God. You allow your Divine essence to lead while the ego follows. It surely will not like this arrangement and will do everything in its limited power to convince you that it has ‘superior’ knowledge about all of life.

To attain Divine wisdom and flow within Divine order you must dismiss this ‘superior’ knowledge while placating the ego’s yearning for masterful control, domination and manipulation with its ‘perceived’ power. How do you do this? You acknowledge the value of your ego and its ‘judgments’ while ‘discerning’ from the Divine view of the Spirit of God. Acknowledge the suggestions of the ego but always follow the guidance of the Spirit of god within.

Your ego has a job to do; ensure your survival at all costs. Allow it to do its job but always put it in its place by moving toward what is best for all while moving away from what is best for just you. The balance you strike here is paramount to the unfolding of your Divine purpose in Divine order. Do what is necessary to express your inner divinity into your environment in order to ensure the expression of Divine love to all. Don’t allow the ego’s favorite tool of ‘worry’ to influence your allowing of Divine guidance!

Suppressing your ego too much stifles your creativity and accentuating it too much stifles your productivity. Use your ego as a craftsperson uses a tool to fine tune a co-creation. Mold and shape the raw materials of life into a co-creation that reflects the beauty of the love that was put into its co-creation. Balance and order are the keys to co-creating beauty in your life. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Our lives are a series of concatenations of occurrences, events, situations, circumstances and reactions to the behaviors of others. Burrowing down even further, they are a series of seconds, one after another in which we are either aware of our external environments or more aware of our internal environments.

But how do we make each and every second contribute to the unfolding of our Divine purposes in Divine order? By trusting completely in the Divine to guide us to complete and utter fulfillment.

Unleash the power of Divine love by initiating faith in that which is unseen; trust in the Divine Infinite Spirit of God; share Divine love with all we encounter.

Just as every molecule of air enters our lungs and supplies the life sustaining function of breathing, allow the essence of spirit to supply the life sustaining function of the unfolding of our Divine purposes in Divine order.

Resisting not what ‘appears’ to be thwarting our forward progress is the key; allowing the Spirit of God to work through us for the betterment of all opens the lock to fulfillment. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Always remember the feeling of inner silence and stillness. Remember the peace; feel the understanding; float in the love; and express that love into your life by living in joy.

Express your divinity no matter what anyone says or does to stifle your expression of it. Some people are too rigid and will never learn that inner feeling because they cannot identify with anything else but external chaos.

Stand firm in Divine peace, Divine understanding, Divine love and Divine joy. Be divinity in action! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Being a fan of the TV show Kung Fu, I decided to write some of my own dialogue for the show’s characters:

Grasshopper: Master, why must I meditate?
Master: You mustn’t do anything, Grasshopper.
Grasshopper: Then why do you meditate?
Master: For the same reason, Grasshopper.

~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Grasshopper: Master, what is the meaning of life?
Master: What does it mean to you, Grasshopper?
Grasshopper: I don’t know, Master, that’s why I am asking you.
Master: How would I know what the meaning of life is for you, Grasshopper?
Grasshopper: You are all wise, Master; and there is much you know that I haven’t even considered.
Master: I can only consider what life means to me. I don’t walk in your shoes, Grasshopper. Do you walk in mine?
Grasshopper: That would be too silly, Master.
Master: Exactly. Only you can know what life means to you. My meaning has nothing to do with your experience. Just as my experience has nothing to do with your meaning. The wisdom of my experience is that all knowledge is useless without meaning. One can only know the meaning of his own life from the experiences that guide him. Seek to know what needs to be known and understand that wisdom is borne of meaning. The more you experience, the more you will derive your meaning of life.
Grasshopper: Then, what of wisdom?
Master: It comes when you let go of all knowledge and embrace your meaning in life.
Grasshopper: I am confused, Master. I must not know in order to understand my meaning in life?
Master: Understanding what you know brings meaning to your life and from that comes wisdom. Without meaning there cannot be wisdom and without wisdom there cannot be peace. Peace comes from knowing your meaning enough to allow it to be without your participation. It is accepting things as they are without any interference.
Grasshopper: Then I should do nothing to understand the meaning of life?
Master: Nothing but allow yourself to who you are; to be your destiny without controlling it.
Grasshopper: So, the meaning of life is not in knowing or controlling your destiny, but in allowing it to unfold naturally?
Master: Exactly. Be as the sail on the ship that captures the wind and lets it go. For in each burst of wind you move closer to port. Allow the bursts to gradually move you closer and closer to your destination.
Grasshopper: Then, what is my destination, Master?
Master: When you know the meaning of your life.

~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Is being restless a result of repetition of unresolvable issues? Are these issues being repeated because you feel lacking in some way? What causes these feelings of restlessness and lacking? Just because you feel them does it mean that they are valid? Or is it that you identify with them so much that they are integrated into your belief system?

We choose to either accept or reject our feelings based on how real they are to us whether they are truly real or not. Following is a continuation of the interaction between the student and the master:

Master: Why are you restless, Grasshopper?
Grasshopper: I feel that I haven’t done something that I should have.
Master: And what was that?
Grasshopper: I should have learned to move to the left instead of the right.
Master: Then, why does that make you restless?
Grasshopper: Because I didn’t do what I should have.
Master: How would you have known what you should have done unless you did it the way you did it?
Grasshopper: I wouldn’t have known it.
Master: Then, why are you restless?
Grasshopper: Because the thought of not doing what I should have keeps repeating itself in my mind.
Master: Then, why don’t you dismiss that thought?
Grasshopper: Because it keeps repeating itself so much that I now believe that I am lacking in some way.
Master: And why are you lacking?
Grasshopper: Because my belief tells me that I am.
Master: Then, why don’t you dismiss that belief?
Grasshopper: Because it feels right to me.
Master: And why does it feel right to you?
Grasshopper: Because I moved left when I should have moved right.
Master: Can you change the fact that you moved the way you did?
Grasshopper: No, Master.
Master: Can you change the belief that makes you feel restless?
Grasshopper: I don’t think so, Master.
Master: And why don’t you think so?
Grasshopper: Because I moved to the left instead of the right.
Master: Isn’t the thought and belief that you didn’t move correctly causing you to be restless?
Grasshopper: Yes, it is.
Master: Then why don’t you remove that thought and that belief for you to have peace once again?
Grasshopper: I can’t, Master. It just keeps repeating itself over and over again in my mind.
Master: And why do you think it keeps repeating itself?
Grasshopper: Because I won’t let it go?
Master: Exactly.

~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Are you aware of just how much inner power you have? Do you allow others to take that power away or do you just give it them out of fear? Are you truly capable of using your power to move mountains as Yeshua said? Are you so used to living in fear that you give your power away to others in order to please their demands on you?

In order to exercise you inner power you must first be aware that you have inner power. When you live ‘outside’ of yourself and allow events, occurrences, situations, circumstances and the behaviors of others to determine you course and direction in your life you are NOT exercising the Divine power within you. You are accepting things as they are without any desire to change how they appear.

In order to re-create reality you must first re-frame the past experiences that originally created it. You need to look at them as what was necessary for you to realize that you can re-create the outcomes of those experiences. What is the inner power that we use to re-create reality? It is the power of Divine love! It takes what has already been created and rearranges it to unfold perfectly in Divine order in such a way as to fulfill your Divine purpose.

What you believe you are is what you will co-create in your reality. If your beliefs are at all erroneous, you will repeatedly co-create the events, occurrences, situations, circumstances and reactions to the behaviors of others that will fulfill just what you believe. Isn’t it worth your time to purge those erroneous beliefs that you have blindly accepted as real? Aren’t you worth it? If you don’t feel worthy to receive Divine blessings then you won’t. You are living a self-fulfilling prophecy based on your accepted and programmed beliefs. Only when you discover your individual personal power of Divine love will you be able to re-create the expressed creation to live a fulfilled life blessed with health, wealth, prosperity and abundance.

You can only discharge these erroneous beliefs by spending the time in deep meditation every day with the Divine Infinite Creator of the entire omniverse. Why does it have to happen this way? Because as long as you live from your ego ‘reacting’ to experiences in your environment you will filling your subconscious mind with erroneous beliefs based on repeated and accepted thoughts that appear truthful, but in reality are NOT valid at all. These beliefs will determine the course that you choose to either move toward or move away from what you desire to express in your life. If they are truthful and valid beliefs you will be able to use your personal power of Divine love to move toward the fulfillment of your Divine purpose in Divine order.

Communing regularly with the Divine affords you the inner peace to ‘sort out’ what occurs outside of you and listen to the Divine guidance within you. Without this ongoing communion, you will stay in the ‘reactive’ mode and not live in the ‘proactive’ mode. It is up to you to fulfill your inner desires and you do this by expecting them to occur; because you KNOW that you are a divine being that was created for a Divine purpose.

Stop giving your power away to anything that exists outside of you. Know that Divine love is the creative force of the entire omniverse that has set the cosmos into motion and it is the omniversal power that creates something out of nothing. You have this power within you and you can use it to co-create the life of your dreams. Tap into it daily and exude its presence by seeking out others who need your help in fulfilling their innermost desires. Without your sharing of Divine love you will always be treading water. Share your blessings and you will be blessed. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Woe be to anyone that denies the spirit; for in their denial lies the root of all ego. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Woe be to those who defend the infirmities, aberrances and self-interests of the ego; for they will caught up in their own will and will not experience Divine love. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Woe be to those who experience the pain of others and walk away without rendering assistance; for when they need it the most they will suffer alone. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

The expression of Divine love ALWAYS works because it IS the original force of creation.

We simply have to get out of our own way and allow it to co-create our reality; expressing our Divine purposes in Divine order IS the process of Divine re-creation. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Grasshopper: Master, why am I here?
Master: This is where you need to be right now.
Grasshopper: And why do I need to be here, in this place?
Master: Because you need to experience certain aspects of your life.
Grasshopper: And what aspects are they?
Master: To observe, to understand and to share.
Grasshopper: If I am here to observe, what should I pay attention to?
Master: Whatever it is that captures your attention.
Grasshopper: But how do I understand what I have observed?
Master: By going within and experiencing inner peace.
Grasshopper: But how does inner peace help me to understand, Master?
Master: We observe the beauty, order and chaos of the outer world. The voices of the past echo in our minds creating inner chaos; only by attaining inner peace may we sort out what it is that we need to pay attention to and develop.
Grasshopper: When we do understand what we have paid attention to, what must we do then?
Master: Participate in life by sharing what you have learned with those on their path.
Grasshopper: But isn’t what I have learned only pertain to me?
Master: Yes, in regard to YOUR experience; however, the principles of that experience must be shared with others in order for you to actively participate in life.
Grasshopper: Then Master, what if I don’t share what I have learned?
Master: Then, as a beaver that dams up the water to preserve his den, you have secured your own space by interrupting the flow of water that supplies life to the other creatures in the forest.
Grasshopper: Master, the beaver does this so it can survive.
Master: True, but is your survival more important than anyone else’s? Are you so concerned for your own survival that you will sacrifice the survival of others to secure your own survival?
Grasshopper: Yes, Master; if it is what I need to keep living.
Master: Life is a chorus of voices living in harmony. Do the chimes ring dissonance in the wind, or do they ring a pleasing sound to one’s ear?
Grasshopper: No, Master; the sound is pleasing and soothing.
Master: Then why should your own survival be at the cost of another’s? By sharing the principles of life that you have learned you are creating harmony and respecting the life of every living being.
Grasshopper: So, through observing we learn what we need to pay attention to in order to grow and expand. By going within we learn to understand what it is we are paying attention to and by sharing what we have learned, we are contributing to all of life.
Master: Correct.
Grasshopper: Then, why do I feel that others don’t understand me?
Master: Because you are more concerned about your feelings and your survival than you are about creating harmony.
Grasshopper: Then how do I focus on creating harmony?
Master: By communing with your inner peace every day. It is there that you learn to understand what you have experienced and what to do with it.
Grasshopper: And how do I share what I have learned?
Master: By being there for others when they need it the most; by removing the dam and allowing the waters of life to flow freely downstream and provide sustenance to all.

Several people have asked, “Why is there always money for war but not for education?” Because we allow the unscrupulous greedy bastards to wield their influence into our lives by buying into their version of nationalism that allows them to profitize their war machine.

Look at how many teachers are going now for gun education. We are reverting to the Old West when whoever had the instantaneous power over life and death was always in the right; even though most often they were wrong.

Fear breeds fear and ignorance breeds ignorance. When we allow faith in God to lead us to Divine trust we will move our collective knowledge into omniversal wisdom.

Wisdom that reflects the respect for all of life and re-educates those who have long since lost that respect. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Life is a series of events that you either enjoy or dislike. You enjoy them when they make you feel fulfilled and you dislike them when they make you feel uncomfortable that you haven’t been treated fairly.

Whether you resist fulfillment or being uncomfortable, it co-creates the same type of events until you allow fulfillment or being uncomfortable to pass through you without attaching any emotions to the events.

This way you allow your spirit to ‘control’ the outcomes of these events instead of your ego. For when the ego is in control it separates, divides and seeks out its own agenda regardless of who it hurts.

Do you want to benefit from all of the events in your life? Then allow them to pass through you while completely trusting in the Divine to move them in natural order to align with Divine order.

Letting go of how this will happen makes it happen for your benefit. You might not always see the bigger picture, but the further you get away from how the picture is unfolding, the more it will come into focus. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

If you think that God has nothing to do with us and what aberrance and violence we co-create then consider this: God only has nothing to do with our existence if you believe we are separate from the Divine.

God allows us to co-create our realities and it is up to us to co-create beauty, peace and love. When we choose to live in fear by arming ourselves to 'defend' our way of life, we have taken God out of the equation completely.

Living in fear is living in separation; living in Oneness is living in spirit by faith and trust. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Know the value of your soul. It is the pearl of great price that is so well hidden that we ourselves have difficulty finding it sometimes. It is always present, all-knowing, all-powerful and is the seed of co-creation.

No matter what anyone else says or does, always know that it is there deep within you. When you crack the shell you’ve built around it the light of love will spill out with sheer brilliance bathing you with Divine love.

The shell is the all of the erroneous beliefs you attach yourself to in order to survive in this perceived world. Remove these programmed false beliefs and shine forth your light for all of us to be amazed.

We want the real you just like you want the real you. Allow it to be. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

The true beauty in life is feeling the joy of being in love. Without the depths of hurt experienced in your heart you would not know the heights of true love. As above, so below. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

“Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves.” ~Carl Gustav Jung

We either don't want people whose behavior irritates us and we subsequently don’t want them around us or that how they are behaving are behaviors that we have already overcome. It is NOT that we are projecting their behavior!!! It is that we understand who we truly are and what we want is peace in our space. We CAN understand ourselves better if we choose to discern their behaviors as inappropriate for us and remove ourselves from their company. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
