Liz brought up an interesting question one morning last winter when we looked outside at the 5 inches of snow on top of our car. Why is it when the snow and ice mix it’s called a ‘wintry’ mix? Why isn’t it just ‘wintery’? When the skies are blue with fluffy clouds is it called summry? No, it’s summery. The derivation of wintery to wintry is due to the slang of those who choose to shorten the proper form into something that is comfortable to them and eventually it catches on and even enters the dictionary as a common form.

Much like the sayings, “Watch yourself” or “Watch your step”. You can only watch yourself from another perspective and if you watch your step you are not looking where you are going. People say the strangest things at times without ever analyzing what they are saying and how it doesn’t contribute to reality.

Are you spiritual or do you embrace spirituality? One is a pattern of thoughts, beliefs, actions and behaviors while the other accepts those conditions as a dynamic state of being. Words are important in how you express yourself but the meanings behind those words reveal just how much you pay attention to what is important to you in being who and what you are. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

You are more powerful than you could ever imagine. Your life is a result of your focused and repeated thoughts, spoken words, intended actions and resultant behaviors. Every time you express yourself you send ripples of force into the multiverse on levels that you aren’t even consciously aware of but somehow know exist. This inner knowingness is your guide to fulfillment from moment to moment.

Are you paying attention to this guidance that benefits all or are you succumbing to the worries of your ego guiding you to protect yourself at all costs? Each and every moment we can choose to listen to the loud voice of the ego soap boxing our survival at all costs or listen to the still small voice of silence that exudes from the Creator. Our free will is the ability to choose which voice to listen and pay attention to, identify with and manifest in the perceived dualistic reality.

If we are self-centered we make decisions based on our perceptions of our needs, wants, desires and expectations. If we are God-centered we make decisions based on what we need to do to fulfill our Divine purpose in Divine order. It’s that simple and it is made hard by our inability to understand our individual personal power that has been given to us by the grace of God. We cannot earn our innermost Divine desires by righteous behavior; however, we can live them by changing our focus from selfishness to Oneness in each and every breath. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

When you deny the divinity within you are denying your true SELF. The only way your ego-self can take center stage is by denying the presence and existence of the Creator within. It takes charge and guides you down a path of inner destruction based on the premise of self-survival.

Naturally, we all want to be protected and survive to live on but at what cost to our Divine purpose? Mediocrity, denial and apathy are all conditions that result from observing, experiencing and feeling the truth and not aligning yourself with it. Is your comfort zone more important than living your Divine purpose? Is your selfish maneuvering more important than being a blessing to others? Is your wallowing in self-pity more important than extending a helping hand?

If these things are then you have given up before you have even begun your acceptance and allowance of Divine Oneness. When you allow the Divine Creator to take center stage you will soon learn that so will your Divine purpose. You will live in joy, understanding and peace and the blessings of health, wealth, prosperity and abundance will abound. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

A smile conveys more love than could ever be spoken. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

We do not earn the power to not sin through righteousness; we are given it by grace. Jesus was here to show us the gifts of the spirit and when we come to the realization that the Spirit of God is within us, then, and only then, do we operate from that wisdom and share God's love with everyone we encounter. ~Dean A. Banks

The Spirit of God was within Christ and Christ came to show us that that same spirit is within us. We all have our SELF and our self. Jesus showed us how to deal with self by listening to SELF! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

We do not earn the grace of God; it is freely given. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

The ego is always trying to tempt the guidance of the Spirit of God within us with selfishness. Listen to your heart and the chatter in your mind will be silenced. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

When we all learn to listen to and carry out Divine guidance we will be truly living in heaven on Earth. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Why is it that you always find what you’re looking for in the last place that you look? ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Too many people follow religious beliefs that they don’t even know where they came from, to lead a life they think they need to live in order to please a God they don’t even understand. Let go of your beliefs in favor of Divine truth and live your Divine purpose in Divine order. That’s why you were born, why you are here and why you exist. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

May your Divine purpose shine forth always in your mind, heart, body and spirit. Your destiny is in your choices moment to moment. Be in the moment now and forever. Be who and what you were created to be by getting out of your own way and allowing Divine order to manifest health, wealth, prosperity and abundance in your life. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Whenever I investigate a belief system I investigate the source of that belief system. I have spent many hours investigating the Mormon religion and what I have found is that it has no basis in verifiable fact. It started with a delusion of its founder, Joseph Smith, and progressed from there. He miraculously witnessed Jesus and Moses in the woods. No one else saw this, just Smith. It is a manufactured religion which takes writings and tenets from other religions and incorporates it into its own doctrine.

I outta know, a few years ago I was placed on a Mormon 'hit list' as being Anti-Mormon. I received many 'hate' emails from people who are supposed to follow love. My eldest son, who is a devout Mormon, and I, no longer speak. He has changed his surname and I have no communication with my grandchildren. Is this a religion of love? That’s what they sell and deliver without the historical facts. The Mormon Church is great at brainwashing its constituents into believing their dogma by selling them the proposition that they will be with their families in eternity. God lives on the planet Kolob near the North Star.

WTF? When the story got too complicated, it had to get better. Don’t be fooled by their demonstration of family and love. It is crock based on sucking you into their beliefs and community. They get too far into your personal life and try to run it. Beware. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

As I go deeper and deeper within, I settle into my Oneness with spirit. As I traverse down the well of consciousness I experience flashes of events, circumstances, situations and interactions with people over the course of my life. I hear their voices, smell the fragrances, taste the subtleties and feel the touch of the experiences. As my consciousness settles down I feel the distractions of the outside world less and less.

I am experiencing the journey into my true SELF by gradually shutting down my ego’s ongoing quest for survival at all costs. As my inner perception experiences unification with the Divine Spirit of God within, my body completely relaxes releasing its internal stress. My breathing slows down, my heart beats slower and my spirit purges the anomalies in my being. The complete allowance of spirit to heal, comfort and assure becomes more and more apparent to my mind.

It reveals what I need to do, when I need to do it and for what purpose. It is the only place where I can experience complete joy, understanding and peace. It is my inner sanctum of non-distraction and spiritual focus. It is my time with my Creator. I enter this inner sanctum twice a day to bathe myself in the spirit and purge my ego’s agenda. In this deep meditation I am in complete Oneness with the Spirit of God. It is my daily blessing where grace gradually and effectively exudes through my entire being.

Thank you, Divine Creator, for the ability to experience this Oneness with you. I know you are always there and by making this time with you a priority every day of my life, I am truly living in grace. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

The love of God is beyond all comprehension. We experience a small slice of it every moment we take in a breath, when we absorb or project a smile and when we extend a helping hand to another. To become completely absorbed in the love of God we must experience silence, stillness and peace every day. Without this, we react to the world with the limited scope of our self and not the infinite scope of SELF.

Tap into and bathe in the love of the Divine Creator and carry that love with you every moment of your life. That’s how we live in the Kingdom Of Heaven on Earth and experience the joy, peace and understanding of the Divine. Make the time for your relationship with God and God will make time for you to live the life He created you to experience. It all comes back to setting your priorities; all centered in love. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Was Jesus a liar? No, he didn't lie. He came here to show us that the Spirit of God is within each and every one of us. He said we would do what he had done AND greater! Some forget or don't even know that statement and beat themselves up with the "SIN" consciousness all of their lives. They listen to what others 'believe' and NOT what Jesus said.

They listen to the personal gospel of Paul more than what Jesus said and completely miss the point. “I and my Father are one” is the mantra he taught us yet many Christian sects signify him only and NOT the rest of us. His message was diluted by those who sought to be middlemen between God and us. A reflective study of history proves this. Blindly listening to what some preacher with an agenda says and believing their interpretation without investigating the facts is the road to hell.

Use the precious gift God has given you; your discerning mind and loving heart to KNOW the truth. Be one with the Spirit of God by casting aside ALL beliefs and listening to His still small voice everyday of your life. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Have you ever said to yourself, “What is the point in all of this?” Well, the true question here is why are you even asking this question? Is it because you are frustrated with the way your life is unfolding? Or is it that you don’t feel secure in your ‘skin’? Could it be that somewhere along the line you accepted your ‘fate’ or you just settled into a comfortable state of mediocrity? Has your introspection of your life revealed that you have simply given up? When you start asking questions like this or    the endless loop question, “Why me?”, it reveals that you don’t have a clue about what is going on or what you need to do to make things better.

The answer is you are at a point in your life where you need to make proactive steps in unfolding your Divine purpose in Divine order. Returning to this place frequently shows that you are NOT taking the opportunities that are occurring in order to actualize your Divine purpose. You are avoiding your destiny by retreating into your comfort zone. These occurrences will keep popping up until you deal with them effectively by stepping out of your comfort zone and taking the opportunities that present themselves.

The Divine speaks to us in many ways; through people, events, occurrences, situations and meditation. Use these ‘opportunities’ to move toward the unfolding of your Divine purpose perfectly. You will not have complete peace until you do. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
