CASEL is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to teaching children the skills to handle life's ups and downs.
They work with children from preschool through high school sprinkled throughout the United States.
Evidenced based research shows that providing these skills not only raises grades by 11%, but also increases positive socialization and coping skills, and decreases poor socialization such as bullying, and alcohol and drug use.
Imagine if we would have learned these skills as children, the rates of depression, stress, and anxiety and the use of mood stabilizers, pain medicine, and illegal drugs would be dramatically reduced if not eradicated.
I donate 5% of all of OneIntention's proceeds to CASEL in promise of a bettter tomorrow. ~Dawn Nadine Janvier

"Spirituality Guidance is the art of leading individuals to observe, collate and evaluate the facts. It frees the individual from judgment and allows your spirit to truly be free. By utilizing facts and not opinions, an individual can become one with the desires of their heart. The ultimate goal is to actualize these desires through prayer, meditation and service." ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
Our mission here is to provide you with as many tools and teachers as possible to not only discover your Oneness with the Divine, but to maintain an ongoing relationship with the Creator of the entire omniverse.
A racist is a person “a person who believes in racism which is the doctrine that a certain human race (or color) is superior to any or all others [dictionary.com].” Now, when you show up to a GOP event with an outhouse as a “Presidential Library” with bullet holes in the side what is your implication? Written inside it says, “For a good time call Michelle.” Not only does this show a complete lack of respect for the office of the presidency, it shows complete disrespect for the wife of the President, who happens to be an incredibly intelligent mother of two girls. And of course, these MORONS deny being racists. Liz made an interesting observation to me: Not knowing you’re a racist, being too stupid to realize you are a racist or being too cunning in manifesting your racist agenda does not make your statement “I am not a racist” valid at all. It reveals just how racist you are! And what did the GOP do about this? Read the article. It’s time that we all of us claim that this country is ONE and that it’s the racists who should leave and take their hate with them. It’s not THEIR country anymore, it’s OURS!!! ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
The Female Approach
CNBC ran an interesting story last fall. They had an audience of billionaires and millionaires discussing the nature of business. One older white ‘gentleman’ (whose name is forgettable) stated that ‘business is war’ and that every day he wakes up and thinks about how he can ‘boil in oil’ the competition. Next, a very successful lady, Sara Blakely, founder of Spanx, stated that her approach is to provide the best quality product for an affordable price. She stated that she isn’t worried about the competition at all because she is focused on what ‘SHE” can do to make her product the best. Now, we could say that this is just a fundamental difference in how the sexes approach business. However, I don’t think so. When you claim that business is war it puts you in a ‘fighting’ and ‘resisting’ mentality; and “what you resist, persists” (Carl Jung). When you use the male method of ’hitting the beach, killing the enemy, raising the flag and drinking a beer’, you are using a ‘warlike’ approach; some situations require this approach but not too often. When you spend time using the female method of ‘feeling your environment, browsing for what is the best way to proceed and taking others into consideration’ you afford yourself the opportunity to take advantage of more resources to accomplish your goal. Historically, the male approach to waging war leaves heartache in its wake whereas the female approach leaves possibilities. As with anything you do in life, it’s good to balance these approaches depending on the actions you need to take. The new paradigm of going within and focusing on individual growth and expansion in order to help the collective grow and expand is a more prudent, caring and resourceful approach. A Closed Mouth
A closed mouth is the prerequisite to listening and learning. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
Have you ever gotten a headache from stress or a stomach ache and stuck in the bathroom from anxiety? What about tight or even strained muscles?
Have you heard of someone dying of a broken heart?
These are all scientifically proven physical responses to mental and emotional issues.
These issues can get "trapped" little by little in our bodies over extended periods of time, quietly, but dangerously killing us from the inside out.
Often, there are warning signs.
Our inner voice tries to speak to us, tries to warn us of the danger.
A pain here, a headache there, fatigue, nervous energy
...but we have been trained oh, so, well to ignore these signals, so we do something immediate, but temporary to erase the discomfort. We eat some chocolate or maybe a lot of chocolate, we have a drink or two or maybe more, we smoke, we exercise, we yell at others, we sleep, we...
Well, what do you do?
We get pretty good at running away until our body and/or our mind shuts us down... the flu, a torn muscle, fatigue, anxiety, sleepless nights and for no apparent reason.
What has happened to you?
Sometimes it starts as a physical problem or sometimes it starts an emotional one... depression, anxiety, anger and we don't know what to do about it and may not even know the cause.
We start in denial... "Life is good, but I just keep getting sick, injured, or exhausted. The doctors can't figure out why."
Then it gets worse... "Life just isn't fun anymore. Life sucks. Why does all this bad stuff keep happening to me?"
Empower Yourself.
