"Spirituality Guidance is the art of leading individuals to observe, collate and evaluate the facts. It frees the individual from judgment and allows your spirit to truly be free. By utilizing facts and not opinions, an individual can become one with the desires of their heart. The ultimate goal is to actualize these desires through prayer, meditation and service." ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
Our mission here is to provide you with as many tools and teachers as possible to not only discover your Oneness with the Divine, but to maintain an ongoing relationship with the Creator of the entire omniverse.
Calling out those who live by lies is revealing the truth and with the truth comes true freedom. Being nice, encouraging and kind to those who trample the truth under foot will help you grow and expand and plant seeds of awareness in them; however, it will not change their behavior from life debilitating to life enriching. Speaking in the language that someone understands is more important than fluff and platitudes. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
We Built This
Many moons ago (1985 #1) there was a hit song by [Jefferson] Starship called “We Built This City On Rock ‘N Roll.” [] It was a song about a city, or should we say any city, by listening to rock music. How about if we take the lead from this song and say “We Built This World On Peace And Love.” Each and every day that we live in peace and share love with all we are building this world into a haven of peace and love where each one of us grow into complete fulfillment of our Divine purposes in Divine order. That doesn’t mean that we don’t laugh our way there; it means that we enjoy the ride into mutual growth and expansion. Build this world on peace and love and we ALL will benefit. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
Stop Searching
I searched for nothing and found everything. I searched for everything and found nothing. When I stopped searching I found who and what I truly am; everything and nothing simultaneously, concurrently and eternally. I am. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
What is freedom? It is the power to determine your actions without restraint from someone else; mostly in accordance with the laws of where you live. It is the ability to choose your thoughts, actions and behaviors. What is liberty? It is the freedom from arbitrary control of your actions; whether it is from an individual, a group of individuals or a government. It is the ability to commit yourself to actions that can be judged by others to either be fruitful or aberrant.
We, as individuals, have the freedom to choose our own thoughts, actions and behaviors. But how many times do we parrot the thoughts, actions and behaviors of others? Also, we have the liberty to express our thoughts, actions and behaviors as long as they don’t encroach upon another person’s freedoms. But what is the line between our rights and the rights of others? Since the Spirit of God is within us all, is it possible that we all perceive the same things differently?
It is like a dog running down a hill that just fell in the mud. The hunter on one side of the hill sees a yellow dog. The hunter on the side directly opposite the first hunter sees a brown dog. The truth is that the dog is yellow but the second hunter sees a brown dog because of his perspective. The reality of life sometimes filters our viewpoints depending on where we position ourselves. We need to see the perspective of the other person in order to understand our own perspective. Take a minute and give the dog a bath. Then both of you can see that the dog is yellow. Peace. ~Dean A. FREEDOM TO SPEAK
by Dean A. Banks, D.D.
We, as Divine beings, don’t have to listen to any of the rhetoric that incites negativity in others. But, we cannot ignore it as well. Any person that demeans anyone else without facts to back it up has no veracity. Anyone who is intentionally fomenting violence and a negative emotional response in their listeners or viewers is a professional prevaricator with an agenda to destroy instead of build. They are the fig tree that deserves to be cursed for bearing no fruit. We have a right to free speech; but not speech that incites negativity in others by lying or stereotyping those who are 'different' than us; especially when that speech cannot be backed up with facts.
Hate speech against any group of people based on race, sex, creed, religion, color, or national origin is clearly a form of discrimination. Employment discrimination is protected by Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Executive Order 11246 (1965). Arguably, the First amendment of the US Constitution states that ‘freedom of speech is the freedom to speak freely without censorship or limitation, or both. The synonymous term freedom of expression is sometimes used to indicate not only freedom of verbal speech but any act of seeking, receiving and imparting information or ideas, regardless of the medium used.
In practice, the right to freedom of speech is not absolute in any country and the right is commonly subject to limitations, such as on "hate speech".’ (Source: Wikipedia). We all know what is going on when hate speech is disguised as viable through incessant rhetoric. Don't be a part of anything that separates, isolates and divides us. The Spirit of God is within all and it is up to us to unify our purposes together in the spirit of truth and unity. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
