There is a difference between a resolution and a goal. A resolution is a formal expression of opinion or intention made to friends, family or the public in general. A goal is the result or achievement toward which effort is directed which requires a flexible plan of how to get there. An intention is a purpose or attitude toward the effect of one's actions or conduct; a mental process that reveals your character.

Many people spout New Year’s Resolutions without developing a specific, yet flexible plan of how to maintain those resolutions. It is mostly an opinion they develop to impress themselves, others or both. Make the resolution this year to detach yourself from specific outcomes that are predicated on you determining how they will happen.

Set your intention to carry that forth, develop a plan of how to maintain your resolutions and carry out your plan to attain your goals. When anomalies arise meet them head on with the resolve that if you are on the way to actualizing your Divine purpose then what occurs is meant for you to grow and expand beyond your comprehension, beliefs and comfort zone.

Be firm, flexible and open to whatever comes your way. It is all meant for your growth and expansion into manifesting your Divine purpose in Divine order. May every New Year be a year where you acknowledge and maintain health, wealth, prosperity and abundance everyday for the rest of your life! Peace and blessings to all you, dear friends! ~Dean A. "Spirituality Guidance is the art of leading individuals to observe, collate and evaluate the facts. It frees the individual from judgment and allows your spirit to truly be free. By utilizing facts and not opinions, an individual can become one with the desires of their heart. The ultimate goal is to actualize these desires through prayer, meditation and service." ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Your Outlook On Life

Your outlook on life is like observing a partially filled glass of water. In reality, the glass is half-full and half-empty simultaneously. Your perspective is what helps you make the choice as to whether your perception contributes to life or takes away from it. Make choices that contribute to the growth and expansion of life. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Holding Images

As God does, we can do also. We have been gifted with the ability to create our world with the images we hold in our minds. When we hold images of disease, poor relationships, lack and limitation, we will bear those fruits in our outside world. When we hold images of health, wealth, prosperity and abundance, we will bear those fruits in our outside world. Each and every moment we experience the now we must choose to hold those images that reflect the desires of our hearts, not the images that we believe we can or cannot attain. Our beliefs are programs and scripts that we accept as true and usually don’t challenge. We must challenge our beliefs every time they deny the manifestation of our goals, dreams and desires. Root out the belief weeds from your emotional garden by trusting in the gift of creativity God has given us. We must daily proclaim our love for God. We must apologize to Him for our ineffective past behaviors that denied the realization of our desires. We must daily seek God’s forgiveness by choosing to act upon the desires He has given us. We must give thanks to God for all of our blessings and we will be bathed in health, wealth, prosperity and abundance. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

Always Ask Questions

Negative reactions can be channeled into reasonable actions and behavior when you pro-act instead of react. Utilize the Socratic Dialectic when dealing with difficult behaviors and difficult people. Respond to negativity with questions instead of vitriol and you lessen the fire in the belly, so to speak. Questions challenge people to think instead of act. Any situation can be handled in a positive manner if you set that as your goal. We are human and we can get angry when we feel we aren’t being treated fairly. The trick is to not let our feelings control our actions automatically without thinking them through. It can be difficult, but not impossible. Channel anger into temperance. Some people just turn off their feelings and go about their way. This is not pro-active and reasonable. It is the ego ignoring the situation to protect itself. Be a peacemaker by seeking knowledge and acting on that knowledge instead of reacting to aberrant behavior with responses that fuel the fire. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.

There are many models of the expression of creation and we can use graphical representations to help us understand how things work in this vast universe. In the accompanying graphic we can use the symbology and nomenclature to help us get an idea of how it works. The graphic is based on a superimposition of the Divine expressions over the Jungian model.

If we put the Spirit of God at the center of the pie chart expressing the energy of love into our universe we can see the manifestation of individual expressions as a result. If we are extraverted we operate in the realm of Sensing to create Knowing. By tapping into Divine guidance through meditation we can begin to understand what we sense and come to a place of Knowing. By observing the unfolding of Divine order we can begin to understand what we are Sensing.

After repeated observations and conclusions from sensing, we begin to think and feel according to what we perceive in our individual external environments; hence we are basically extraverted. If we are introverted we operate in the realm of Thinking to create Being. By tapping into Divine will through meditation we can begin to understand what we think and come to a place of Being.

By observing the unfolding of our Divine purpose we can begin to understand what we are Thinking. After repeated observations and conclusions from intuition, we begin to think and feel according to what we perceive in our individual internal environments; hence we are basically intraverted.

Whether we choose to live from within, without or both, the universe still operates according to laws and principles. Thoughts affect the Dark (unseen) Energy which in turn affects the Dark (unseen) Matter. Everything unseen molds and shapes what we perceive in a dualistic reality of expressed energy and formulated matter.

The Spirit of God and the ability to create is within each and every one of us right now. Feel the Divine order to understand Divine guidance. Think the thoughts of Divine will to understand your Divine purpose. After all, we are all One with the Spirit of God. We just need to realize it. ~Dean A. Banks, D.D.
